Hilary Duff Slams Faye Dunaway Right Back

As much as Im not a HUGE fan of Hilary, I am ashamed of Faye. She is way passed the age were its acceptable to “make fun” and disrespect people. Its not classy in the least. Nor does she have enough skill and talent to warrant her saying it. After all, I don’t recall HER winning anything for that movie. Hilary’s response was completely justified in my mind. And also, to all you people saying she isnt a “Real” actress… how would you know? She hasnt done anything in years that could prove her Oscar worthy. She is just now coming into her prime age for that profession. After all no one can make an Oscar winning movie out of the roles she has been giving up until now. You all need to get down of your high horses :)

I don’t think she was in the wrong responding the way she did. What is up with all these older ppl getting mad that the younger generation is remaking them in the movie. Do you own the character? Jack Nicholson vs Heath Ledger, btw Heath played a better joker…and no its not because he died that I’m saying that..he was. Beyonce vs Etta James…and Beyonce did sing it better. I think all these ppl are suffering a midlife crisis…take it out on someone else.

To be honest, Faye is right. I would be pissed too, if someone hired Duff to play a part that made me famous. Duff was not hired because she was qualified to play the role, she was hired b/c she is a pretty face and teen actor who could get a young demographic to view the film. Apparently, this movie is not the same as the cult classic and has no class b/c it’s sell point is teen angst. Duff may have the looks to play the part, but you need more acting chops to play the part. The fact that Duff accepted the role proved her ignorance as an actor - she is unqualified. Also, be gracious that Faye did not expound on her “oh, so insulting comment” b/c she could have said worse. Duff came across as just another spoiled young hollywood brat, who cannot appreciate the famous women in hollywood who paved her way. Also, I hope I look as good as Faye when I am 68! Good luck to Hillary, what goes around, comes around . . .

I am not afraid to use my real name because I will stand by my comment. I think Faye Dunaway used to be a beautiful woman, until she opened her mouth. Then she showed the world what an ugly, ugly person she is on the inside. Hilary may have faired better to ignore her and say nothing. But she has a right to a rebuttal. What’s the matter, Faye? Can dish it out, but can’t take it??

Ms Dunaway was just stating a fact. Hillary wishes she were a real actress. She plays the same character in every role she plays. This isn’t a remake of the classic, just a cheap imitation. You can’t remake perfection.

Fay Dunaway is a very talented and serious actress and was one of the most well known A list actresses of her day. And also, although Hillary Duff is quite a cute girl, she is not, and never will be, the great beauty that Fay was in her day. Not to mention Fay really does look pretty good for someone around 70.

initially i was thinking that hilary probably made that remark cause faye dunaway really looked like she had plastic surgery done.
so it was more of a jab at her and her plastic surgery than her age..
anyway, really looking forward to this movie. and i think faye looked great when she played the role :)
