Hilary Duff Slams Faye Dunaway Right Back
Hilary Duff is set to fill screen legend Faye Dunaway’s shoes as one-part of the infamous 1930s bank-robbing duo Bonnie and Clyde in the indie drama, The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.
Last week, Faye supposedly zinged, ”Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
Hilary has retaliated, telling E!, “I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.”

For the May 2008 issue of Allure, Hilary actually paid homage to Faye in a photoshoot inspired by the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde.

Hilary is stupid, she should have been gracious,,besides faye dunaway looked more beautiful than hilary when she was younger, hilary forgets that youth is not forever, so one day somone will pour that same medicine down her throat more forcibly than she would like…
Respect for your elders is a good thing..too bad she doesnt have any manners or respect for her elder..I for one done see what talent she showcases since I have never seen her in anything..she is not a serious movie actress and faye dunaway is…also her ignorance shows in teh fact taht she deos nto even know who played the original role that she is working on..what does that say for her version…no studying of parts but you expect to turn out a good performance..FOrtunately she will never be nominated for an Oscar otherwise she will learn how it bites when you play games with the hollywood crowd…you can get nominated but you never win…ask jolie

I don’t know why people have to be so mean to other people. Faye’s comment was so wrong. I don’t care how much older and how much talent she has. Whether your 20 or 60 people have feelings. For her age she should of learned by now to treat people with kindness. Hillary also shouldn’t have made that comment either. She should of just ignored her. Hillary obviously still has alot of growing up to do but what is Faye’s excuse. People have to learn compassion in this world and treat each other with respect which I believe we are all lacking.

oh, how you slap me with your wit m but i think people should respect hilary for i doubt anyone here actually knows her, you all think because you know her name and her career that suddenly that deems that you know everything. for one she is not talentless or else people wouldn’t waste the time, effort or money to buy the things she invests her time in and second of all, faye shouldn’t have said anything at all. no one is expecting hil to get a oscar nor a emmy but that doesn’t mean you should respect her work any less. i personally think the ones slamming her are just plain jealous.

I guess Hilary really shows no respect to Academy Award winning actresses. Faye Dunaway just another prime example of women her age who are talented but can’t find great roles due to her age and most importantly - her looks. Faye Dunaway is respected for her great choices of work.
Faye Dunaway is a serious actress who’s won awards. Hilary Duff is a Disney tv star who made films like Cinderella Story… and what else? I don’t even know what her other films are. Plus, her music! Hilary is an example that just because you’re in the industry doesn’ mean you should sing! She sounds like a 5 year when she sings.
Faye Dunaway can have alzheimers and she could still act better than Hilary Duff.

The “people” who spend money on Duff are primarily tweens, the 7- to 12-year-olds who comprise Disney’s core demographic. Are you seriously suggesting that 7-year-olds should now be the arbiters of superior acting talent? Thanks, but I’ll stick with the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, who have repeatedly honored Dunaway. I assure you, THEY have no idea who feeble little NO-TALENT Hillary Duff is, and they never will. Good Lord, what a non-analytical society we have become, where people actually revel in their ignorance of anything that requires the reasoning skills of anyone over the age of 13.
if you have to ask then Hilary fans are so ignorant she’s lucky she even has fans. That is actually why she has fans, the ignorant out number the educated which is why people like Hilary, Paris, Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba… (and the list goes on) EXIST and are considered actresses.

She and her peer group may not know who she is but head of studios, casting directors, producers and film directors are of that age group and are the ones who hire actresses for projects. Hilary is too dumb to realize that she just blew it..
It’s true, Hilary’s young fans won’t know who Faye Dunaway is but that still doesn’t change the fact that Hilary Duff is not a very good actress!!! There are many, many young actresses in Hollywood who could play Bonnie in a remake. Why did they pick someone who has zero talent?
