Hilary Duff Slams Faye Dunaway Right Back
Hilary Duff is set to fill screen legend Faye Dunaway’s shoes as one-part of the infamous 1930s bank-robbing duo Bonnie and Clyde in the indie drama, The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.
Last week, Faye supposedly zinged, ”Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
Hilary has retaliated, telling E!, “I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.”

Despite what Faye may ‘look” like her acting will far surpass Hilary’s any day of the week. That right Duff you’re pretty with no talent, the perfect thing to gloat about. She’ll always be a celebrity, not a genuine singer or an actress, but a pretty talentless Disney vet.
Hilary Dufus you should be so lucky to look like Faye Dunaway at any age. The woman is beautiful and is one of this countries great actresses and stars. If you can read look at her resume. The fact that your dozen or so fans don’t know who Faye Dunaway is speaks volumes about your limited appeal and talent. The only thing you bring to the role of Bonnie is your very natural ability to portray white trash.

How do you know she is a “wonderful person?” As for a “wildly successful” career, lol, once again the ignorance of the typical Duff fan rears its empty head.
To date, Duff has won one Kids’ Choice award for “A Cinderella Story.” She has also been nominated for three WORST ACTRESS RAZZIES, most recently for 2007’s “Material Girls,” co-starring her equally, talentless sister, Haylie.
Hilary is EXACTLY what Dunaway said — not a “real” actress. The typical, middle-school-educated Duff fan is too stupid to know the difference between an accomplished ACTRESS and a marketed PERSONALITY.
Some of you might not know this but B&C was Faye’s 3rd movie and it was the one that launched her career. Up to that point she was only on TV in bit parts and small role in to other movies. While I’m not a fan of Ms Duff and a big fan of the original movie cut the girl some slack and wait to see how it turns out..
Don’t worry Hillary, you’ll look like that one day. I don’t know why the young never think that they’ll get old. It’s never a good idea for a young actress to take on a role which another actress did superbly.

I was a Hilary fan, but seeing her being a ***** makes me hate her now. So what Faye looks the way she is now, she looks good for someone her age!!! And hello…did she even see the original Bonnie and Clyde??? Faye was GORGEOUS in that and can actually act better. So if Hilary is reading this, SHUT THE HELL UP!!!! Learn to keep your mouth shut if you want to be MORE respected in this industry.

i don’t care how many awards Faye has, she is dead wrong to say those things to embarrass HD, maybe it’s true, but where i come from, you don’t let anyone humiliate you in public and expect to get away with it, if you want respect, you better give it, Faye had a reputation in her hay day of diva behavior, well she met her match, don’t dish it ……if you can’t receive it. Faye Dunaway struck first. Hilary has been acting for quite a while now. Yeah, it was a silly Disney show, but she was young. Everyone has to start somewhere. Faye should have the dignity to respect other actors. Obviously she can act or she would not have been cast. Millions of dollars rest on that decision. I was hoping Hillary Duffy would have taken the high road, but she is young & she was insulted publicly. Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it Faye.

I do in fact know that she is a wonderful person…I have had the pleasure of working with her many times over the years.
Hilary works extremely hard and is more than deserving of such a incredible role.
In this difficult industry she has taken complete control of her career and made numerous commercially successful films, had a hit tv show, sold over 14 millions albums, over 1 million concert tickets, owns a top selling merchandise franchise and all before she turned 21…
Doubt most of us could compete with that…especially you.

I know who Faye Dunaway is. I don’t know **** about Hilary Duff’s acting - never seen a movie that she was in. That said, Faye picked the fight. If you can’t take it, don’t dish it out.
Faye is right. What exactly has Hilary Duff done that would lead any reasonable person to believe she’s serious about acting? Based on her resume, she’s just a cheesy pop star, and she hasn’t shown any of the dedication to acting that Faye has shown throughout her career. Faye’s comment sounded a little catty, but it’s true that Duff hasn’t shown any depth as an actress, and hasn’t been very ambitious about the roles she’s chosen. What Duff said, however, was just awful and uncalled for.
People always make fun of Hilary, and she is tired of taking it. Hilary probably looked up to Faye as an actress, and that’s why she took the role. Then, Faye comes out and disses her, and says she is not a real actress. Basically, Faye attacked her job, and when someone attacks you, you attack back. Hilary has taken a lot of crap, and really for no fair reason. I’m glad she stood up for herself FINALLY.

I dont think Hilary even knows who Faye is. She should have asked because the part she is trying to play, Faye won an Oscar for and I doubt Duff will win anything but a Razzie.
