Hilary Duff Slams Faye Dunaway Right Back

Hilary Duff is set to fill screen legend Faye Dunaway’s shoes as one-part of the infamous 1930s bank-robbing duo Bonnie and Clyde in the indie drama, The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.

Last week, Faye supposedly zinged, ”Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”

Hilary has retaliated, telling E!, “I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.

Meow meow meow! Watch the video below…

Hilary Duff Slams Faye Dunaway

For the May 2008 issue of Allure, Hilary actually paid homage to Faye in a photoshoot inspired by the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde.

…other than classless *****!

But wasn’t Faye just stating a fact? Isn’t Hillary Duff a TV person or something? I know she sings a bit. Her show is one thing, but playing such an iconic role? Strange casting, and yes, a little bit insulting. Unless this is going to be like “Naked Gun” or something.

Hillary looks like a horse now, so should she really be commenting on someone else’s looks? What a stupid little girl.

“Hilary works extremely hard and is more than deserving of such a incredible role”

Since when does “working hard,” alone, entitle anyone to be cast in a role? One’s body of work, critical acclaim and professional accolades are better indicators of whether one is right for a particular role. And if you have TRULY worked in the industry (as you claim, and as I actually have), then you know that NO ONE “DESERVES” any role. Even the great Meryl Streep has been turned down for three roles in her career, so why would TALENTLESS Duff, whose lone claim to acting fame is DISNEY FLUFF, be “deserving” of anything, especially something as high-profile as remaking a modern classic?

**********************************
“In this difficult industry she has taken complete control of her career and made numerous commercially successful films… ”

Please be so kind as list them. And how many of them were seen by anyone over the age of 12?

***********************************
“…[she has] had a hit tv show, sold over 14 millions albums, over 1 million concert tickets, owns a top selling merchandise franchise and all before she turned 21…Doubt most of us could compete with that…especially you.”

What does BUBBLE GUM POP and shilling crap to 7-year-olds have to do with her ability as a film actress? By your logic, the person MOST deserving of the role would be Raven Simone — another Disney star who also took control of her career and has had FAR more financial success than Duff. But Raven is REALISTIC about her abilities and chooses roles accordingly. Moreover, she was raised with enough class that she would never be the DISRESPECTFUL LITTLE B*TCH that Duff has revealed herself to be.

And since you seem to be (inexplicably) interested in my own career, I am more than happy with my success as an accomplished attorney who has worked in both the entertainment and real estate fields. That said, Duff is STILL a NO-TALENT little B*TCH who should be honored to even be PERMITTED to make a pathetc stab at the role created by the great Dunaway.

Go Duffster! She had every right to get her revenge talk on!

Please, Hillary has fans?
First of all, when you’re still wet behind the ears like Hillary, you shut up when a more experienced and TALENTED person puts you in your place.
Second, before you diss an Oscar winning actress, get yourself an Oscar first. In Hillary’s case, that’ll be, like, in million years.

Faye Dunaway is a talentless has-been who had one good movie back in the 60s. Hilary on the other hand is only 21 years old and has starred in over a dozen hit movies, had her own hit TV show, three #1 albums, sold-out wold tours, etc. As far as never winning an Oscar, how many 21 year olds have?

faye dunaway is a has been who tries to pick a fight with a 20-something year old…please faye your not a legend

WHO IS THIS FAKE DUMAWAY LOSER?

TEAM HILARY

This Faye Dunaway is a joke. Here is this 70 something woman picking a fight with a teen like Hilary Duff. Hilary has done more at 21 years old than that old hag ever has. Bette Davis had nothing but bad things to say about Faye, and Roman Polanski slammed her pretty hard in his book. At least people under 30 years old know who Hilary is. NBC is bending over backwards to develop a show for her. It’s going to be called “Barely Legal” and should be on in the fall.

#30 just took the words right out of my mouth.
They were both ignorant in their words. What Hillary said was stupid and disrespectful, but she was just defending herself. Faye was immature for a talented woman of her age to make that comment in the first place.

NO…WIRE….HANGERS!!!! *crosses eyes while grimacing* <——Uhhhhh??

Why is it that no one ever LISTS Duff’s supposed “hit movies”. As for actors who have won Oscars by the age of 21, plenty have. But unlike Duff, THEY actually evidenced at least an iota of talent:

Oscars:
Tatum O’Neal , age 10, Paper Moon; Anna Paquin, 11, The Piano; Patty Duke, 16, The Miracle Worker; Timothy Hutton , 20, Ordinary People; Marlee Matlin, 21, Children of a Lesser God

Hilary Duff: - Zero Oscars, Zero Golden Globes, Zero Emmys, Zero SaAGb Awards, Zero DGA awards. Zip, Zilch, Nada.

Know what? I’m starting to think Hillary has it in her! The more we see this side of her, the more we could respect her - not so squeaky clean. FYI, Fay has is a crazy mummy after all! Let’s love them both!

Psychochick @ 02/03/2009 at 9:25 pm

Anyhoo Hilary was defending herself. Faye took the first swipe. Just shows how bitter she is. Hilary may be turn out to be a good actress. Look at Cher. She surprised people who initially snickered at her for being in Silkwood.

Hillary just said the truth, most girls her age don’t know who Faye Dunaway is and about her looks well she is looking pretty bad…

Looked like WHAT!?! Faye looks amazing! Except, I guess to a stupid little girl who wouldn’t know acting of it bit her on her a$$!

FAYE DUNAWAY HAS BEEN NOMINATED 8 TIMES FOR A RAZZIE AWARD - 8 TIMES. - SHE´S NOT LEGEND AT ALL - SHE WAS LIKE SCARLETT JOHANSSON IS NOW - AN OVERRATED ACTRESS WHO RECEIVED GREAT ROLES DUE TO HER LOOKS AND CONNECTIONS.

looks like that old lady is jealous. Hil is young and pretty and she is old and ugly. Good on Hil for defending herself from that old lady.

AHHAHAHHA! that is so true, i had no idea who the hell she was.

love you, hilary.

i’m so proud of her that she actually stood up for herself
she always just lets people put her down

Hilary is a nasty little b*tch. Whow the hell does she think she is. She wishes her ugly ass could look half as good as Faye Dunaway when she reaches her age.

faye now - better looking than fluff will ever be.

Is it true that Faye once threw a cup of piss at Roman Polanski? It is talked about in his book. Real class act there.

I saw Bonnie and Clyde on TV last night so I turned it on. And it was soooo boring! And had such cheesy bad acting in it. I paid attention to about 10 minutes of it then got distracted by the internet and then realized it was still on and turned it off. It just made me happier that a new one was coming out and Hil was going to star in it.

People think old movies are sooo amazing but they’re always so bad quality, cheap sets, cheesy over dramatic bad acting (something Faye has keep with her throughout her career); I can hardly ever get into them. Not all of them but this one can definitely could use an upgrade, it’s so dated! And not even true, I read Bonnie didn’t even fire a gun in real life but in the movie she did. And Hil’s is being promoted as the true story so maybe it will go by the facts better.
