OlderPaul Walker & Jasmine: Engaged? Nope!
2 Fast 2 Furious hunk Paul Walker and his girlfriend Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell are engaged, reports Star.
Over the holidays, the 35-year-old actor reportedly popped the question to 19-year-old Jasmine, a student at University of California, Santa Barbara. The mag also claims the couple started dating when Jasmine was just 16.
“Paul is very happy,” says an insider. “Their age difference doesn’t scare him. He knows she’s the one. They’ll take their time to do things the way they like [for the wedding].”
Of note: Paul, has a daughter, Meadow, 9, who lives in Hawaii with his former girlfriend Rebecca. Jasmine reportedly met Meadow last month.
UPDATE: A source close to the couple tells JustJared.com that Paul and Jasmine are not engaged. Time to put those party hats away!

this picture is old, which makes the story false more likely… i just saw P. Walker on Sunday at the SuperBowl (got a pic with him for proof) and he has short hair and no facial hair, no way he grew it that fast… so i wouldnt count my chickens on this one! But i do like that he likes regular girls (might have a shot… LOL)

Mel, what part of the story do you think is false? The photo was taken last month, January 20, 2009 to be more precise. I’m assuming he cut his hair and shaved before he went to the Superbowl. I would like to see the pic though.
I didn’t even know he was dating anyone lol. This is the first time I’ve even seen pics of them together.
it really isnt that crazy. and im not doing it because i think its cool, #49. only my small group of close friends know about him..when we met he thought i was 25 and i thought he was 28..we didnt know our real age difference until a little later and at that point it didnt matter to us. so you all need to stop freaking out about this couple because they could have had a similar situation or just never realized the age difference. the only reason you think its so weird is because they are young. thirty years from now their age difference wont seem as ridiculous. as long as the younger one is mature it can work.
So far, Star Magazine’s track record for this article: The school she goes to is wrong. The engagement is wrong. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that the length of time of dating is also wrong. As far as I know, they’ve been dating less than a year.

David #57 the Star was right about 1 thing that he was dating Jasmine at 16 years old. The locals in Santa Barbara gave him **** about that when they saw him with her.
Relax #56 why would let someone believe your 25 when your 17 years old.(Your an example of jail bait for men who are too stupid to check your age) In love or not in love the issue is this man committed a felony in the eyes of law. In love Paul was sleeping diffrent women while he was dating Jasmine and still is. There is the chick name Irene and let’s not forget the 2006 pic of the girl in front of the mexican cafe. (which is not Jasmine) If Paul started dating Jasmine at 19 still too young but not a felony. Relax what do your parents think about this relationship of yours if you have told them?

I agree it is disgusting but the age of consent in the majority of states is sixteen and in a few states is low as 14 so, technically, it probably wasn’t illegal.

No state I know of and here is legal age in California:
California - The age of consent in California is 18. It is illegal for anyone to engage in sexual intercourse with a minor (someone under the age of 18), unless they are that person’s spouse. California employs a tiered system where the greater the difference in age, the greater the penalty. If the person engaging in sex with a minor is less than 3 years older or younger than the minor, then they are guilty of a misdemeanor. If they are more than 3 years older than the minor then they are guilty of a felony. Those over the age of 21 engaging in sex with those under 16 are subjected to more harsh penalties
Mr. Walker better be veeeery careful about what he says regarding his relationship with this girl. And the fact that a magazine is publishing that a 35 year old man engaged in sex with a minor, which is considered a felony, is a pretty serious deal.
The whole thing is cooky if you ask me. I am pretty sure he is dating her. Engaged. NOPE. Funny thing all week they are playing his movies on t.v. Sounds like publicity to me.

All i can say is I am just as shocked as everyone on here, it is disturbing. If Paul is not involved with her AND oneof his friends is reading this, all I can say is you better clear the story and set it straight! Too many fans that once adored you now think of you much less!

This is true and a lot of people who live in Santa Barbara are coming forward and speaking about what they know and saw. A friend of mines says a couple years ago Paul & Jasmine showed up stoned at one of her friends parties.(Teenage party)
The Paul Walker camp is only denying the engagment and not the information that Jasmine was 16 when they dated and that her age is 19 years old now.
The people in Santa Barbara should have said something 3 years ago when it first happen.
Santa Barbara community your just as guilty as Paul Walker because you say nothing. You allowed a crime to take place based on a person being a D list actor. Shame on you and shame on Paul Walker.
