“LOST” IN TIME
Costars Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly chat up season 5 of Lost in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly.
“I was a little worried about the start of the season, to be honest,” says Evangeline (Kate). “It might sound terrible to say, but the mythology of this show eludes me. I am all about the characters and the interplay of the relationships and the angst of redemption and retri bution—all those good nuggets. So, in my biased view, I’ve been running around tell ing the world: ‘Be patient! It’s just the first half of the season! We’ll come back!’”
Foxy has another, more optimistic take. “It feels very different from what Lost has felt like in the past, but in a really good way,” says the actor. “There will be many, many answers, lots of things from past seasons that left the audience thinking, ‘That’s never going to pay off’—but it does, in really cool ways that make you go ‘Holy s—!’ The season has a real feeling of things coming together, and it builds a groundswell of momentum for the end of the show.”

i love this show! this season is soooooo…. good. i want kate to be with sawyer. hehe =)
They are awesome together! I never had liked a fictional couple like I love JATE! And Foxy is someone I can call SEXY and CUTE at the same time. I have no words to describe him now! Evie is all happiness and we can see and feel that they are very close friends! Jate all the way!!!!!!!

Evangeline Lilly is really kind of lame. The show still does all those things that she likes in terms of character development, but the genius of the show is that it also has added other elements that have taken the show to a really great place narratively. It’s too bad that she doesn’t realize that since she is on the show and all, but she seems to complain about everything. So privileged and never grateful, that is so Hollywood for someone who claims to hate it so much.

I gave up on this show, but now that they have gotten rid of the stupid flashbacks they can get going with the action. I guess the island is acting aas the flashback now with the time travel, but come on, time travel is the most riduculous storyline ever!
