Angelina Jolie Picks Armani Prive
Angelina Jolie adds a splash of yellow to her wardrobe, donning a gorgeous Armani Prive dress for the Orange 2009 BAFTA Awards at the Royal Opera House on February 8 (Sunday) in London, England.
Accompanying the 33-year-old actress to the British Academy Film Awards was longtime partner Brad Pitt looking spiffy in another Tom Ford tux. Angie finished off her look with classic pumps from Christian Louboutin and a bracelet and diamond-studded earrings, both from Asprey.
Brad is up for Leading Actor for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button while Angie is vying for Best Lead Actress for Changeling.

It is cold in London and it always seems to rain on the BAFTAs. Hence the scarf. This isn’t rocket science.

One year the BAFTA red carpet had just been shampooed and the rain turned it into a slippery carpert loaded with suds. Stars were actually slipping and sliding and jumping over puddles. Some of their dresses were ruined.

I’m not much a tattoo person, but I really love the childrens’ tattoos. I think when they are old enough to appreciate it they will love that their mom marked their births in such a personal way.

I love how the dress shows off her curves - especially the curvy behind she’s got going on there. I even think the tiny belly is sexy. One shoulder dresses really are alluring - goddess like. Even more so than plain strapless dresses which get boring after a while.

How incredible that in one week they can combine their humanitarian work with this. So glad to see that Angelina’s efforts in Thailand with the Burmese refugees has paid off. As I noted earlier, it appears to be a united effort with the US joining in with the UNHCR and other rights groups to put some delicate pressure on Thailand and the other southeast Asian countries to move forward on the issue.

Hey don’t speak for the British thakns…I’m a Brit & I think Kate is classy & one of the finest actors around. Yeah her acceptance speeches seem to suck but doesn’t make her unclassy or crass.
Also while we’re on it, the parts where she gets naked & shags teenagers that you’re talking about, it’s called acting. Btw I love Meryl too & think she actually deserves the Oscar this time over Kate (Kate should have won before this year for one of her numerous other nominations.) Still reckon Meryl might win the Oscar though as the Baftas always go with a Brit when they can & the Oscars always go with an American when they can.

They gave out the awards very simply, no fanfare and dancing girls - that I saw - no stupid musical numbers, the winners were very brief with their acceptance speeches and the show wasn’t a big spectacle. I didn’t seen Slumdog but will see it out of curiosity.

What i have noticed is this kind of movies appeal lies under perception and culture :
- Slumdog is doing well but average in terms of american audience ( less that 80 millions for a movie put there 4 months ago);
- Internationally it did poor so far with a little bit more than 40 millions, half of it from the UK. The multiple awards hasn’t change that perception abroad and the movie sales are not in par with the success in the US and UK.

When you see into it even further, you noticed that Changeling and TCCOBB are doing better in those markets (Including france, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, ect) with the exception of the UK.

In other words Slumdog is extremely well received in the UK, averagely in the US and poorly in the rest of the world by comparison

These award shows are datenites for Brad and Angelina and they make the most of them. They also know that to be nominated is a great honor, and for both of them to be nominated for all the major awards this year has been a superlative and rare honor. They enjoy each other’s company tremendously and that comes across in the videos of the events. They are truly grateful for the recognition from their peers and the guilds like most actors are. Both are at the height of their careers and both are wholly supportive of the other. For Angelina to plan to make fewer films at a time when she could probably make a film a month is amazing to most who aspire to be at her level. For Brad to support her decision is seen by some as unbelievable. For those who read their words and listen to them, it makes perfect sense, family is #1 for both of them. They are much more traditional than would appear on the surface, and this is very interesting to me. Both have the attibutes to supply what the other wants and needs, and do indeed do so.
These two have fused their lives in all ways. There is now seen a level of togetherness and comfort as well as hormonal overdrive whenever they are out and about. They just get each other. There is no other way to express what is going on between these two.
Brad, no matter what, is going nowhere but home with Angelina and the kids. His body language is “I am where I am supposed to be with the love of my love”. That’s it.

No, Angie’s not too skinny at all. In fact, one of the pics at Getty Images where she is reaching up to autograph she has a bit of flab GASP! puffing out over the top of her dress on the side. They also know that to be nominated is a great honor, and for both of them to be nominated for all the major awards this year has been a superlative and rare honor. They enjoy each other’s company tremendously and that comes across in the videos of the events. They are truly grateful for the recognition from their peers and the guilds like most actors are. Both are at the height of their careers and both are wholly supportive of the other. For Angelina to plan to make fewer films at a time when she could probably make a film a month is amazing to most who aspire to be at her level. For Brad to support her decision is seen by some as unbelievable. For those who read their words and listen to them, it makes perfect sense, family is #1 for both of them. They are much more traditional than would appear on the surface, and this is very interesting to me. Both have the attibutes to supply what the other wants and needs, and do indeed do so.
These two have fused their lives in all ways. There is now seen a level of togetherness and comfort as well as hormonal overdrive whenever they are out and about. They just get each other. There is no other way to express what is going on between these two.
Brad, no matter what, is going nowhere but home with Angelina and the kids. His body language is “I am where I am supposed to be with the love of my love”. That’s it.

Aniston looks like Peri Gilpin from Frasier in that picture. Not a bad look but a million miles from the beauty and sensuality of The Jolie. However, that’s not what Aniston really looks like. Do any of these people you mentioned have children, just one child?
Do they stay up late or wake in the middle of the night to attend to any child or xchildren?
Do they worry about their children like Angie does with her 6kids plus Brad?
Do they stay up late when the kids are sick or restless to comfort them ? I could go on and on, because you see, that is the difference between them and Angie. Angie has 6 children to care for and worry about and if you add Brad her other half that makes the number of people 7. Angie is mom and these people are single women with no responsibilities. If Angie has aged as you claimed, it normal progression of life, What is not normal is being 40 with no child, no husband, no career and no family.
