Angelina Jolie Picks Armani Prive
Angelina Jolie adds a splash of yellow to her wardrobe, donning a gorgeous Armani Prive dress for the Orange 2009 BAFTA Awards at the Royal Opera House on February 8 (Sunday) in London, England.
Accompanying the 33-year-old actress to the British Academy Film Awards was longtime partner Brad Pitt looking spiffy in another Tom Ford tux. Angie finished off her look with classic pumps from Christian Louboutin and a bracelet and diamond-studded earrings, both from Asprey.
Brad is up for Leading Actor for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button while Angie is vying for Best Lead Actress for Changeling.

The dress is kind of weird. But I really liked Changeling. I doubt they’ll win, though.
I am always impressed with Angelina and Brad. Angelina looks stunning in black and yellow and Brad, as usual, looks handsome wearing the Tom Ford tux.
The tattoos make her look tacky.

The Sky interview was so fun, and I really liked the BBCone too - they are such gracious, nice people — all of the fans on jjb, said they spent more time with them than any of the stars. They just looked soooo happy.

‘Button’ sews up foreign box office
‘Curious’ pic stands solid in major markets

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” taking advantage of its 13 Oscar nominations, has dominated the weekend’s international moviegoing with $31 million at 5,126 playdates in 47 markets.
Warner Bros. saw solid “Button” launches in a quartet of major markets — France with $5.1 million, Spain with $5 million, Japan with $3.6 million and the U.K. with $3.2 million. “Button” also held impressively in its second German frame with $3.9 million, off only 16% from its launch.
“Button” scored the second biggest weekend take of 2009 at the foreign box office, trailing only the $33 million for “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” during the Jan. 2-4 frame.
The Brad Pitt-Cate Blanchett epic romancer’s cumed $72.5 million overseas with openings next weekend in Italy and South Korea. “Button” has totaled $120 million domestically in seven weeks for Paramount, which co-financed the project with Warner Bros.

It is cold in London and it always seems to rain on the BAFTAs. Hence the scarf. This isn’t rocket science.

One year the BAFTA red carpet had just been shampooed and the rain turned it into a slippery carpert loaded with suds. Stars were actually slipping and sliding and jumping over puddles. Some of their dresses were ruined.

I’m not much a tattoo person, but I really love the childrens’ tattoos. I think when they are old enough to appreciate it they will love that their mom marked their births in such a personal way.

I love how the dress shows off her curves - especially the curvy behind she’s got going on there. I even think the tiny belly is sexy. One shoulder dresses really are alluring - goddess like. Even more so than plain strapless dresses which get boring after a while.
I think, Angie has still the plight of the refugees in mind. I think, it’s not that easy to adjust the two different worlds that she just visited.
