Chris Brown Arrested, Bail Set At $50K
Chris Brown surrendered to LAPD on Sunday evening, was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m. and was officially booked at 7:41 p.m.
The 19-year-old “Forever” singer has been charged with one felony count after an alleged assault on Saturday night. His bail has been set at $50,000.
Both Chris and his girlfriend Rihanna were no-shows for Sunday night’s Grammy Awards. They were both scheduled to perform and replaced with a performance of “Let’s Stay Together” by Justin Timberlake and Al Green.

The Herpes stuff is just a bunch of bull. I wish they had placed a higher bail because $50K is not a big burden for him to pay.
I read somewhere that he was charged with criminal threat charges but domestic violence charges could be added if the district attorneys office chooses to do so.
This is just one giant mess and the fact that he would do that last night and disrupt the biggest award show besides the Oscars is just repulsive.

Chris Brown and Rihana are normal people just like us. Stars go through the same things we go through, look at Keisha Cole show and listen to her song Just Like You. There’s two sides to every story and I love them both and right now we shouldn’t point fingers we should embrace them and pray they can get through this. And if Chris did do this we need to get him some professional help. Do anyone remember his family had a problem with domestic violence and he saw his mom go through beatings, verbal and physical abuse and if he never got help for this, this is the end result. This doesn’t take away from the Chris we have come to know and love, people we need to stop judging because we have skeletons in our closets that don’t get national attention like this so just STOP IT!!!! Pray for his mom as well, I know this took her back to when she was experiencing this.
