Taylor Swift hits the red carpet at the 2009 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old country cutie donned an Ultra Fine Italian Tissue Weight Jersey Dress from Kaufman Franco with wrap around patent leather strapping. Taylor finished off her look with Rene Caovilla shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Watch the acoustic performance of her song “Fifteen” below! It’s a duet with her BFF Miley Cyrus (they are both ex-girlfriends of Jonas Brothers).
On Saturday, Ms. Swift attended the 2009 Grammy Salute To Industry Icons honoring Clive Davis at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. She wore a sparkly Collette Dinnigan creation and finished off her look with Louboutin shoes and Jimmy Choo “Celia” satin clutch.

The Grammys have became nothing more than a big corporate freak fest. Many of these acts (lil Wayne for instance) couldn’t sing their way out of a paper sack if not for auto-tune and other digital vocal correction tools.

taylor is really good, especially as a writer, but as much as I hate to admit it, Miley Cyrus cannot sing. I think she just needs to disappear for a while and get some acting lessons, and come back as an adult and just focus on that.
I think there is too much focus on fame and not enough on art, which is what acting and singing are. Taylor Swift understands this, but i dont think Miley does.
I am very disappointed in this preformance because Taylor could have done way better on her own. Miley definetly ruined this.
First time I’ve ever actually enjoyed a live Taylor performance. She’s much better when she sings the softer stuff, her voice can’t handle the higher notes.

Honestly, I don’t understand why Miley is famous; she can’t sing as seen in this performance, and is best known for her habit of taking innappropriate photographs. Taylor’s voice isn’t amazing, but at least it’s pleasant to listen to and she has solid songwriting chops.

i am definetly not hating on miley cyrus. I want to like her…I try to like her, but honestly, she cannot sing. I feel bad for Taylor because it ruined her preformance and she is so talented. I do not like country music, but Taylor is just so good and such an amazing writer.

Miley can’t sing. If there’s a fast dance beat song Miley will sound ok, other than that, it all shouting words. Her talking voice is sometimes annoying too.Taylor has an amazing voice. As she gets older and more mature, her voice will only get better. It was sad to see Miley place a stink bomb on the song.
um…..if you’re a good singer, songs don’t have to be written for “your voice”…..the issue is her tone- her voice isn’t pretty and she needs to take vocal lessons to improve it. All of these young “stars” should pay attention to improving their craft instead of thinking that since they have a hit record, they are the best. Clearly, they are mistaken. I’ve never been a fan of Taylor but she did a pretty decent job and she’s a good songwriter for her age.
