Taylor Swift hits the red carpet at the 2009 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old country cutie donned an Ultra Fine Italian Tissue Weight Jersey Dress from Kaufman Franco with wrap around patent leather strapping. Taylor finished off her look with Rene Caovilla shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Watch the acoustic performance of her song “Fifteen” below! It’s a duet with her BFF Miley Cyrus (they are both ex-girlfriends of Jonas Brothers).
On Saturday, Ms. Swift attended the 2009 Grammy Salute To Industry Icons honoring Clive Davis at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. She wore a sparkly Collette Dinnigan creation and finished off her look with Louboutin shoes and Jimmy Choo “Celia” satin clutch.

Taylor is a charming girl and s decent songwriter. But when are people going to realize she cannot sing. How she ever sold out her LA concert in two minutes is beyond me. I would not pay .25 cents to see her perform. Charming, mature,and cut….but not a singer.

Miley ruined another song… (just like she did for “Just Stand Up”).
Taylor’s voice isn’t amazing, but at least it’s pleasant to listen to and she has solid songwriting chops.
Miley sounds like garbage…horrible, unpleasant voice.

I’m have nothing against miley cyrus but she sounded horrible she really ruined that song, she can’t sing, yet shes famous, but whatever, Taylor was amazing she totally rocked i wish she would have sung that song alone.

they could have let Miley Cyrus out she is a sweet girl i suppose but she can’t sing or act her way out of a paper bag i 100 percent agree with the person who said she should disappear for awhile and get some singing and acting lessons. i am definetly not hating on miley cyrus. I want to like her…I try to like her, but honestly, she cannot sing. I feel bad for Taylor because it ruined her preformance and she is so talented. I do not like country music, but Taylor is just so good and such an amazing writer.
I feel bad for miley and I wish that she realized her own limitations and stop setting herself up for failure.
I reiterate that she should disappear, take classes, and come back and be an actress. She should wait until she is older and then do more serious stuff, but of course she won’t because they all just want money and fame.
as much as I loved the fact that the two jonas brother ex’s are all bff now because I am not those brothers biggest fan, i wish taylor could have just sung on her own without that extra baggage.

I’m a Miley fan but I think she totally ruined that song.I’m not hating or anything. I thought Taylor was awesome and I wished she had sung it herself. Also, Miley’s facial expressions durning the song kinda distracted me. =P

When I first heard of Taylor Swift, she sounded promising but has not delivered.
I’m afraid her Grammy performance was like a novice at an open mic. She seemed nevous and put in a very lackluster, off key performance.

Miley is to pop music what the Monkees were to the BEATLES….a made for TV fake. Not a real musician, just riding on her daddy’s coat tails.
The Grammy’s in general are an overblown display of outrageous taste and poor performances by musicians who don’t deserve the recognition.
The best parts were the performances by the classic musicians…they were just there to have fun, not outdo each other for the worst outfits of the show.

Taylor Swifts guitar however, was a beauty to behold…I want one..wonder what it sounds like I couldn’t really hear it, I was too distracted by Taylors whimpering voice and Miley’s screetching!

Miley can’t sing. If there’s a fast dance beat song Miley will sound ok, other than that, it all shouting words. Her talking voice is sometimes annoying too.Taylor has an amazing voice. As she gets older and more mature, her voice will only get better. It was sad to see Miley place a stink bomb on the song.
