I am happy. She thinks she is better then TV acting….. She is not all that….

These two are so ungrateful!! If it wasnt for Grey’s nobody would know who they are!! Plus he is an idiot for quitting, her career is doing okay outside of Grey’s but he has nothing going on!!

Maybe I’ll start watching again.

haha without Kate Walsh, Katie Heigl it won’t be the same, the show goes down, well I liked George but I stopped like him somewhere in the end of season 3 so I don’t mind, but I guess I won’t have any reason to watch this show. I used to love GA but I don’t think that they can save it.
season 4 is not so good, and season 5 started to be good maybe around episode 10, not a good score

Sounds like it’s either not a great work environment, or a bunch of diva actors on set. You don’t want to be there, go…but don’t assume your movie career will soar. This is what David Caruso did with NYPD Blue…yes, he’s on CSI: MIami now, but it took his career a loooooong time to recover from what his ego was after.

i will miss them but no so much that if ellen, patrick, sandra or chandra leave grey’s

I also have lost interest in the show - everyone in the cast seems confused and off. what is that? I only watch intermittently now.

Nevertheless, I don’t think Knight is really an actor at heart. I hope he finds something that is good for him. Heigl, to me, has that star quality that is rare - she’s beautiful and radiates onscreen. The reason Julia Roberts is such a big star is that people recognize she is also authentic. That’s the rub with Heigl - people have heard she is a bit nasty and demanding and bitchy. If she fixes that sense of entitlement (therapy might work???), I think she could be a big star. Also, she needs to stop smoking. Her work in romantic comedies is great, and she could also do more drama too. I think it is a good move for her to jump Grey’s now.

This sucks!! They were my favourites on Grey’s! Next season definitely won’t be as popular without them.

They are awesome, I hope she continues making movies, she is such a good actress. Not too many actresses can jump from T.V. to the big screen,. He is also very good…love love them both.

These two are so ungrateful, IMO. Anyway, the show won’t die. Only Dempsey/Pompeo departure can kill it.

Katherine was nothing before Grey’s, but will go on to do well, as for TR, he won’t be heard of again

not sure why Katherine is leaving-other than maybe to support her best friend. I LOVE TR and his character but you have to admit that they haven’t been giving him much air time lately.
I wish them both the best of luck-I love them both.

It is better to have them leave than it is to keep disgruntled employees around bringing everyone else down. Personally I think they would’ve been better off staying and riding the gravy train as far as it goes. They could’ve still pursued other interests during the off season.

Good riddance and take Denny with you as well! This show use to be soooooo good until they let Burke go and started with all the stupid story lines. I will be watching this Thursday because it seems to be the first time in a long time they will have a decent story line.

Izzie was annoying and they made George to whimpy. The show is on the verge of tanking with or without them. Who knows maybe new faces will regenerate a better plot and revitalize the sinking ship?

Well, it was so predictable she was leaving, because she’s been bitching about the show forever and generally being un ungrateful hag. That said, she’ll be ok and will move on to romantic comedy land, doing bland romcoms like 27 Dresses for the rest of her career, ala Andy McDowell.

As for him, really stupid move. The general public doesn’t know him from Adam. He’s not going to have a very successful career….so many other bit players get high and mighty because theyre on a hit show, so they quite to “move on” only to discover….there’s nothing. If I were TR, I would keep taking the paychecks and riding that gravy train for as long as I can. He’s just very close to Heigl, so he let himself be influenced and is thinking, “oh, me too!” when he’s not commercially viable. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I think it’s time for that whiny, fake, stupid, ugly, opportunistic, chain-smoking, self-obsessed, self absorbed, talent-less hag to leave Grey’s Anatomy. Her career will soon go down the drain anyways a la David Caruso.

ITA… It is going to be so funny.. TR has let her screw his ass. He has done nothing other then Grey’s. She has at least done some films, and has a new one coming out. He is a Dummy.

T.R. Knight wants to peruse other acting jobs? The biggest thing he was on before Grey’s Anatomy was an episode of CSI.

I don’t really care about TR anymore cuz we dont see him as much as before, but it’s a shame Katherine is leaving cuz her storyline is getting interesting. She’s one of the stars.

Eh…not really important. This will at least give some more chance to more MerDer screen time. Izzie was just weird. George didn’t have a big role.

I liked Grey’s in the beginning but then it went somewhere I couldn’t follow… Becoming pretentious, boring & pathetic; trying to be a mix of Scrubs & E.R. that doesn’t work. I got so bored with it, I began watching Private Practice instead… Of course, that show has it’s own problems, but in a more tolerable vain for me to keep watching. For now, anyway.

Yay………. When it their last show. Good bye and Good riddance. What has George done since Callie left him anyway? Izzie should just die and be with Denny.

Well I can see where this is going now. Izzie will die and George will be heartbroken and leave. But what will happen to Alex? It is so unfair that he is going to get his heart broken again.

They should have listened to me. Burke should have NEVER left. He should have been off camera for a while. They should have brought Hahn’s character in-but Burke and Hahn should have been partners working for Genetech-(a bioengineering lab specializing in the development of germ warfare products) plotting to take over Seattle Grace.
Meredith should have bee pregnant a long time ago with a baby that turned out to be George’s instead of Dereks!- Bailey’s husband should have been getting it on with the Chief’s wife!!! C’mon Shonda-wake up-Call me-Save Grey’s!!! Alex’s character is just a brick wall-he has issues that can’t be defined. Just make him a drug addict already-He has the signs-Izzie was a good character at first, but she was wound too tightly around Denny. Who do you know inherits millions of dollars and leaves the check on the fridge? No one. How real was that? At the most, she should have turned into a controlling, power hungry ******-TR only had chemistry with the man in the mirror. He should have played a straight guy who discovered he was gay-when do we ever see the anguish and emotional journey a man in that situation would face? Never-so if Grey’s get’s cancelled, it’s only because the writers became disconnected-ok. I have given this way too much thought right?

Thank GOD there’s owen hunt now!! otherwise this show will be dead soon, fast.

5 years is enough on any show. The show died after season 2. Might as well leave. You don’t want to be typcasted.

It kinda seems TR is destroying the show with his drama king antics. He got Isaiah fired up by spending hours complaining about Patrick which led to the meltdown. Now he is staging a duel exit with offscreen BFF Heigl. I actually think Isaiah could return after TR leaves and make the show better and improve the ratings.

I will miss Katherine Heigl’s Izzy.

Who can be happy with this news? I mean, come on! Meredith, Alex, Izzy, Christina and George are the core. You may not like them. You may even hate them. But they are the core. They are the Buffy, Willow and Xander of Grey’s, they are the Marissa, Ryan, Seth and Summer of Grey’s, they are the Lois and Clark of Grey’s, they are the… do I need to continue?

Of course, if Katherine and T.R. (what the hell is his first name?) are happier without Grey’s, they should leave and they have every right to (I think, I dunno… ABC knows;). But it is NOT nice or fun or ok!!

So………… let’ss assume they do leave, and according to this article they do, so let’s assume this article is correct:) What might happen? Let’s speculate:)

Izzy: 1. she turns out to have a brain tumor and it is either in-operable which will make her decide to leave to live what’s left of her life, or she dies on the show.
2. she can’t get over Denny and she doesn’t want to work in ‘his’ hospital anymore, so she leaves.

George: If Izzy leaves to live her life or because she can’t get over Denny, he goes with her, and if she dies he leaves out of grief……… I gues… I dunno. George hasn’t had much of a storyline lately (see there T.R.’s reason for leaving) so I really wouldn’t know what could possibly make him leave. Nothing really happened, nothing good and nothing bad, so why would he leave? Hmmm…

Aww… I want Izzie and Alex to be together. I’m glad Denny’s gone though.

This season, in my opinion has been the best yet. the storylines are emotional and the acting is superb. I wish Katherine and TR the best of luck in all their future endeavors. They will both me sorely missed.
