Katherine Heigl Leaves Grey’s Anatomy
Katherine Heigl and BFF costar T.R. Knight are hanging up their scrubs and leaving Grey’s Anatomy.
“Yes, she is [leaving],” co-star James Pickens Jr. (Dr. Richard Webber) tells Us Weekly. “Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best. [TR Knight's] going too. He just wanted to pursue other career paths.”
“Right now, the whole thing is in the hands of their agents and ABC’s lawyers,” an insider tells EW. “Something will probably be worked out soon, but it’s a safe bet that Katherine and T.R. won’t be returning as series regulars next season.”

The show sux this season so this will only add to the down hill slide GA has started….Story line is BORING!!!
Don’t mind seeing Knight go, but I’d like to see Heigl stay. I’m currently behind on some episodes, but the storyline has been a mess this season from what I’ve caught. They really need to bring back Walsh to help the show. Is there anybody out there that can actually say they like Private Practice? I was excited about the cast when it began, but the show was extremely boring
NOOOOOO! Sure, their caracters were pretty bad lately, but they could get better again! The show could go back to what it was like. I can’t believe it!
bRIAN - Private Practice has improved vastly this season and is better than Greys now. It’s likely to get a full Season 3 pick-up. It helps that there is a small cast and the characters show greater continuity and maturity than on Greys where even Bailey has become a shadow of her former self.
I think Greys will suffer without Katherine Heigl. TR has never had much to do the last couple of seasons anyway so he might not be a loss, but Katherine brings the high profile and publicity to the show. I expect all the originals will leave within the next 2 seasons, that’s why Shonda is bringing in loads of new interns to take over. Season 2 was the best season of this show, now it’s downhill till the axe falls….

OMG, this show should be awarded as the ‘most leaving’ TV series. More and more stars flock out of it. Of course, this season, there is nothing much about both of these guys. But with their departures, the show will become weaker as ever…

Nay! George and Izzy make up a good portion of the diversity of the show. Plus, Katherine Heigl is cutttttte, don’t want to stop seeing that face.

IZZIE AND ALEX 4EVER AND EVER
It kinda seems TR is destroying the show with his drama king antics. He got Isaiah fired up by spending hours complaining about Patrick which led to the meltdown. Now he is staging a duel exit with offscreen BFF Heigl. I actually think Isaiah could return after TR leaves and make the show better and improve the ratings.

Who can be happy with this news? I mean, come on! Meredith, Alex, Izzy, Christina and George are the core. You may not like them. You may even hate them. But they are the core. They are the Buffy, Willow and Xander of Grey’s, they are the Marissa, Ryan, Seth and Summer of Grey’s, they are the Lois and Clark of Grey’s, they are the… do I need to continue?
Of course, if Katherine and T.R. (what the hell is his first name?) are happier without Grey’s, they should leave and they have every right to (I think, I dunno… ABC knows;). But it is NOT nice or fun or ok!!
So………… let’ss assume they do leave, and according to this article they do, so let’s assume this article is correct:) What might happen? Let’s speculate:)
Izzy: 1. she turns out to have a brain tumor and it is either in-operable which will make her decide to leave to live what’s left of her life, or she dies on the show.
2. she can’t get over Denny and she doesn’t want to work in ‘his’ hospital anymore, so she leaves.
George: If Izzy leaves to live her life or because she can’t get over Denny, he goes with her, and if she dies he leaves out of grief……… I gues… I dunno. George hasn’t had much of a storyline lately (see there T.R.’s reason for leaving) so I really wouldn’t know what could possibly make him leave. Nothing really happened, nothing good and nothing bad, so why would he leave? Hmmm…

Aww… I want Izzie and Alex to be together. I’m glad Denny’s gone though.
I will miss Heigl. She is a beautiful woman. I hope the rumors about her recent behavior are just that…rumor. She was the main reason I watched Greys and I will miss her. She was right about her story line. Denny is nice to look at, but get real on the ghost part. She is not a great actress, but she is a good one and she really does comedy well. Good luck to her.
This season, in my opinion has been the best yet. the storylines are emotional and the acting is superb. I wish Katherine and TR the best of luck in all their future endeavors. They will both me sorely missed.
I’m sad that they are leaving. The show won’t be the same without them. They will both be missed very much.

i am so upset about Kathrine Heigl and TR knight leaving greys anatomy. I miss the good old times where they all were happy and had so much fun. I am excited dough to see if there is coming any other characters in to greys anatomy.
But does anyone know when season 6 will be out ?

Oh, Katherine Heigl is the best actricess in the show, and George is a very good character. Without them, the show will never be the same!:((
Izzie is very charismatic and George is such a figure! I don’t think i will see the show if they are gone. And other people believe the same as well.
