Shia LaBeouf: Fedora Fashion
Wearing his fave new fedora, Shia LaBeouf puffs away at a cigarette as he lights up outside of his New York City hotel on Tuesday (February 10).
The 22-year-old actor dropped by the What Comes Around Goes Around store in SoHo, where he picked up the the Santa Maria Tee.
Shia just returned from London, where he presented the Orange Rising Star Award (he picked up the honor last year).

i love his hat. this hat and his pork-pie hat are a nice change up from his baseball caps. i saw the music video shia directed and i loved it. rumspringa has a very funky 60s sound to there music and i thought the mellow vibe of the video went well with it. shia did a really good job for his fist ever music video. i can’t wait to see what direction he takes cage’s music video in since cage’s music is a lot darker than rumspringa.
I hated the video, if Shia Labeouf is becomes a director, that will totally ruin his career. His directing is way too artsy. Arsty shi’t has been known to flop. Not many people like weird Artsy work. i can’t believe my eyes. i cannot believe that there really are people on here acting so infantile by pretending to be other posters and accusing people of needing help. I just spent my whole night having a Shia dvd-athon and I really feel like I connect with him on so many levels. Here are my reasons, Shia seems really sensitive and I am extreemly sensitive. Shia seems to be kinda shy at times and I am very shy and I keep to myself. Shia isn’t ‘traditionaly’ handsome and I am very humble looking. Most of all what Shia and I have in common is our family life, his dad use to be heavy into drugs and my dad smokes plus my mom drinks a lot, so much so that it interfers with our family at times. I hope Shia stays humble because thats what I love the most about him :)

My roommate and I are really into psychology so we thought it would be interesting to bring our love of psychology to our opinions on Shia Labeouf. I’m not sure Shia would come on line and argue with us posters. He’s really busy working on story-boards for the up coming Cage music video and trying to perfect his directing skills.

in all seriousness, i am only kidding, i couldn’t judge someone on their looks or their problems even if i wanted to, truth be told this is the first time i posted on jj (with all my post together), just to stick up for the underdog, i don’t come on to these websites to judge or to pick fights or to try and tell Shia who he is or who i want him to be because i like him for him who ever that is, just as long as he is true to himself, i am happy with who he is or how he looks, i am not one of those woman who try to hook up with him for his money, fame or him, Money is nothin to me, Fame only last so long and he could never keep up, so good luck to you who ever you are, i hope you find what you are looking for from this site and move on.
The only thing I can say from reading about Shia and I did read some of the entries from her blog that some of you are talking about here. Is that Shia and that blogger do have a similar upbringing. Shia and that blogger both have a family member who abused a substance (drug, alcohol is a drug too).
Also the two of them seem like really sensitive people from what I read. Sensitive people tend to wear their emotions on their sleeves sometimes, I would know because my sister is like that, she is hyper sensitive. All of this being said when growing up in an enviornment where as alcohol or drugs are present the kid learns to defend themselves at an early age and it is a much deeper hurt for those who are sensitive because they feel everything.
So remember when you all are “bashing” Shia or this blogger or anyone else it may hurt them deeply. I am only guessing because of how my sister acts to everything, she is that sensitive. This is just my guess here. I hope that my little “2 cents” will keep the cold ones away from here and to stop saying heartless comments to Shia, that blogger or anyone else. (but unfortunately it probably will not cause this is the net)

I hope that Shia does not give up acting all together and become like Steven Spielberg a director (behind the camera only) That will be sad because I will miss his handsome face and his terrific acting. But if he feels that only directing is what he now wants to do, I am very happy for him, I still will miss his acting, he really is a “gem” at it!!! If he has to direct I hope he does it on his off time or both, best of both worlds I guess.

I am sorry I just thought that you could have been Lorenzo seeing how Shia has been busy with that directing thing and he never posted to any of his fans like Lorenzo does (you will see how Lorenzo does on his IMDB page). My guess is that you are either a fan girl/guy or both from IMDB and/or the shia forum (smilingamy’s crew and such).
I still think that Lorenzo’s directing rocks, Shia should take some lessons from him, but because Shia is a big name now he got to direct instead of Lorenzo. Man, Lorenzo’s work is so good.

wow, no i am not on any fansites, umm sorry no i don’t feel interesting so bare with me i guess…
i think Shia’s directing ability is natural it is simple alot of ppl forget about the simple things when it comes to music video’s and with life, i don’t think he deserves award for it or anything special like that.
Shia can could probably be full of himself sometimes but everyone is at one point of another.
I actually do think that media is eating it up that Shia directed the video and i think it is too much because it should be about Rumspringa not about who directed it but it isn’t Shia’s fault, he is an actor those things tend to happen but i listen to Mind’s Awake and i like it, i think the band is great from what i heard.
i am not in love with Shia, so i can’t answer that question, all i can say is i respect his career and he acts normal so that is all i see him as.

I was just wondering your thoughts on Labeouf because of how he has said different things on interviews/articles like I remember reading that Shia thinks that he is very sensitive and he feels everything. The only thing that I remember reading about Shia being “cocky” is about him being Jewish, do you recall reading this? How do you think that Shia Labeouf is a cocky jerk? Do you think it is because “fame” went to his head (the one on his shoulders)? Do you think that he is cocky about his looks or his work or what? i don’t really read alot of his interviews and if i did i can’t really remember them, thank you btw, truth be told i don’t know Shia at all, i have never talk to him and i just know somethings from what i read and that isn’t alot, no i don’t think Shia is perfect i think he is human, i don’t think the fame went to him i think sometimes it hits him that he is famous but like i said i don’t know him, i think he has his cocky moments but who doesn’t his looks probably sometimes and his work well i think his cockyness is mistaken for his protection of his work but i don’t think fame hasn’t captured him thanks to his family, childhood and they way he was brought up if it was different then he probably would be in a manson with models at his house everyday, i think he is a normal person who loves his job and the things that come with that job, i think fame for him can be a flipside somedays he loves it and somedays he hates it, i can be pretty funny thanks

That is a shame that Shia is cocky about his looks, if you are right. What do you think that he thinks is so damn cute about himself? I can totally understand Shia being confident about his looks but cocky, ew, that is such a turn off. I hate guys who think that they are better, it makes Shia one awful actor I think, because it is such a turn off that I would not even watch the guy act. I don’t like to watch actors who think that they are great, I hope that you are wrong because if not, I think that makes shia the next tom cruise, ew! I agree with #149, that I can not stand an actor who is “cocky” about anything but even worse the looks, ah, major don’t. i think that problem is that media is giving Shia way too much credit on his looks. I think that he is fugly! I personally think that he is one of the fuglies dude out there. But his acting is great! I am talking about Oscar great, it is just hard for me to watch this guy on TV because he is that fugly! So for him to be cocky about his looks only is crazy!!! I feel sorry for the guy every time he has to look @ himself in the mirror. I think that the only reason he is getting such big roles is because he is such a wonderful actor. i can’t answer that i have no idea really i don’t, well myself think that he likes to direct it is something exciting and new to do until he can get back to work, i don’t think he will make a career change and if he were ever to do then it is his choice.

please clarify what you mean by “information that is controlled”. I hope that you come back because I know I enjoy talking to you and getting your prespective on things. I was thinking about something that you probably have no idea about, as do I, but please give this your best guess. But what personality type from what you know of Shia, that you think he is. Like I am a “introverted, intuition, feeling and judging”. I could go into more detail about that but I am more interested in your thought on what you think Shia’s personality is like, and why. I could ask this on another message board but again you seem like you are not one of those “giddy fan/girls” who thinks that Shia is perfect. You seem like me, very logical. Okay I saw post #155 and here is what I think of shia:
I am guessing that Shia is an ESFJ “the caregiver”, this means that he is sympathetic and caring, that he puts family and friends first. a creature of habit he prefers routines and has trouble with change. he loves to be in groups whether he is helping people or working on a project. he is good at listening, laughing and bring out the best in people. in love he values harmony and mutual understanding. he will opologize or give someone the benefit of the doubt if it means getting over a fight sooner. at work he is good at building relationships and connecting with people. here is how he may see himself organized dependable and co-operative. what others dont understand about Shia is that he is opinionated critical and a know it all.
I must say that I agree with most of this stuff. Shia may be opinionated about women, I think that shia is sometimes to critical of his work, he needs to understand that he is a good actor.
Remember this is just my guess, maybe someone can shed some light on this subject like this “wooo” person or anyone. but the only one who can really know if this is true is Shia Labeouf. I could be here all day/night jotting down my thoughts on Shia’s personality from what I read, but I would like to hear what others think like wooo or whoever! Chow
I think that they last video that Shia directed was not one of his finer moments. That video was hard to keep up with, it had an indie feel to it, but it was too indie, as in very odd indie. I agree with what someone said here, Lorenzo seems to have an “eye” for directing much more than Shia does. But Lorenzo does not apear to be as indie as Shia does. About Shia personality I feel that his personality seems like he wants to be the center of attention, i get this vide by how he acts on the movie sets. Shia did mention on some interview how he likes the attention that he is receiving. Shia is considered “a sex symbol”, perhaps that has gone to his head, who knows. I also agree that the beard does not fit him. I really don’t think that Shia is “flashy” but some of this clothing is a bit expensive, I remember reading what he wears in an Instyle article and some of the shops that he goes to is a bit pricey. Yeah after reading the ESFJ personality trait it does seem to fit him.
Okay that is it, if I can think of more about Shia I will post it. Right now I am going back to bed.

What is the big deal about Shia labeouf, he is fugly as sin and he thinks that he is super hot. Yesterday he was at the Cage thing directing someone had mentioned that he is only 5′9″ way too short. They said his eyes are so sexy I think that they are hiddious. I remember reading that some of his fans want him to wear glasses, I say go for that but only if they are tented glasses so that it hides his hiddious eyes. the only thing that is remotely attractive about this guy is his hair, that is it. Other than that he is so fugly I never watch him act because I cant stand to look that this god awful guy. I do have to say that the beard is great for him because it takes away from those nasty eyes of his. Okay that is my thought on this guy. BTW I like his directing because I dont have to see his butt ugly face!!!!
I think that Shia is a great actor, and lately he has been very kind to his fans. I heard that he is very rude to his fans when he is tyrying to show off in front of women that he thinks is so hot. I guess he wants to keep his cocky jerk image in front of those women so that they will like him back. He seems very cocky about his looks. I think that he can have any girl he wants. I think that he is very humble about his acting though.
