Orlando & Miranda: Sydney Sweethearts
Miranda Kerr and boyfriend Orlando Bloom walk hand-in-hand as they board a plane from Sydney to Melbourne on Thursday.
The pretty pair is helping with a telethon to raise money for the victims of the South Australian bush fires. Megan Gale and Russell Crowe were also on-hand to pitch in for the relief effort.

yeah, i was surprised when i first saw miranda in person too. she is TINY. not an ounce of fat. she looks twice as big in photos. i swear, she must have small bones or something. very delicate features. i’d say she’s probably a size 2. her cheekbones are wider than her hips, that’s for sure. beautiful girl, though.
Yeah, I saw her at the David Jones conference today. She is sooooo skinny. The most beautiful and classic looking girl you’ll ever see - you just can’t help but stare at her. In real life she has amazing feline features - she looks like a cartoon kitten. Very exotic looking. Stunning. As a guy, I am extremely, extremely jealous of this Orlando bloke. Miranda is heaven. Why don’t real-life girls look like her? :(

I agree with you, that she’s much thinner in personal compare to the pictures! She looks so fragile, as if she’ll break anytime.
Nonetheless, she’s very pretty. She wore a very little make up when i saw her at the airport, but she still looks the same, beautiful!
Now i can say that those who say that miranda is ugly really needs a second opinion! You will be in an awe when you see her in person! The reaction of the people that they passed through was so funny, everyone stopped, and turned around, and look, and murmored that’s miranda right, you sure, oh orlando, etc LOL

omg, if i met miranda or saw her at the airport i would die. im so JEALOUS! I’d be too scared to get her autograph too haha. but trust me, when her book comes out i’m gonna line up in the rain for hours on end just so she can sign it. i think if i was ever in her presence i would faint. her looks could kill.

Both of them are so tanned, they are almost of same height, and i dare say that orlando is really one of the best, if not the best looking guy i’ve seen, but his body figure is also a bit skinny. And he’s again wearing the same black jeans i always see in pictures, wonder if he ever change or laundry those LOL

I just hope miranda would do more runway shows cause her body is perfect for runway! But i guess her vs contract prevents her from doing so, like the rest of the contracted vs models, they never or rarely do other runway shows…
Orlando is on the Board for Global Green, so he is very involved in their projects. He was half a world away, and still wanted to spend time with his girlfriend, it made sense that he didn’t go this year.
Kate, on the other hand, will go to the opening of an envelope if it meant that her picture would be taken. That doesn’t mean that she is any more commited than Bloom. Just more available.
Orlando is spending some quality time with Miranda in Oz. I wouldn’t berudge him that time, and I bet Sebastian doesn’t either.
I wonder if Sebastian will photograph Miranda, like he did Kate? His pics of Kate are some of my favorite photos of her. And his pics of Orlando are always amazing. It would be nice to see what he could do with a real model.
Most of the VS Angels are too voluptuous for runway work.
Adriana is too busty, and Doutzen has gotten so thick that she can kiss her runway work goodbye. Plus Adriana can’t stop ‘pointing’ on the runway to save her life, and Doutzen lumbers like a truck driver. Neither one of them has a decent walk. Alesandra (sp?) can still work the runway, and she has a nice walk, so she may be able to go back. Miranda is really the Angel with the best shot at doing runway. She still has, or can achieve a runway weight, and she has one of the best walks that I have ever seen. But I think that all of the Angels, no matter their weight, have become too recognizable as VS girls. And most designers will shun then for that reason. Gisele was probably the only girl to be able to overcome that stereotype, but she is one of a kind.
Maybe that’s one reason VS rewards their Angels with huge paychecks. They know that they have left their high fashion careers at the door, the moment they sign.

I like Kate and I’ve alway thought she had a very pretty face. But as far as ‘modeling type’ is concerned she can’t compare with someone like Miranda imho. Kate’s too short and built kind of ‘boxy.’ She also has short thin legs without much shape to them and unfortunately her knees are really knobby. She’s pretty but doesn’t have that strikingly-exotic kind of beauty that sets Miranda apart from other ‘pretty’ girls.
Yeah, you can see how well Kate handles herself in front of the lens from the latest pics at the Global Green party. Awkward stance, unflattering head positions, strained smile that makes her look demented, or a lopsided half smile that makes her look like she is missing teeth, and a head that is too big for her body. Yeah. Great model. *rollseyes* I think that she is gorgeous, but Kate needs a lot of direction to look good in print ads. She is hopeless on film, just hopeless. Whereas Miranda is a natural. Always poised, and always gorgeous.
Why are Kate’s fans even on this older thread about Orlando and MIRANDA? Can they just not let go? Or are they Orlando fans who want Kate back. Even though they hated Kate, too, when she was with Orlando? They called her the same names that they are now calling Miranda, now they think that she is better. Of course that would change immediately if Orlando took Kate back. Then SHE would be the devil’s spawn, and they would be wanting back sweet, classy Miranda.
You know it’s funny. Miranda and Kate are two completely different people. Different careers, different personalities, different looks, etc. The only thing that they have in common is Orlando. But while dating him, his “fans” used the EXACT same insult for both of them. To me, that says more about the fans, than about either girl. That says that no matter who Orlando dates, she will be crucified. Be she model, actress, doctor or waitress. They will all be part of a “showmance”, and they will all be labeled “famewhore”, no matter the situation. Poor girls. Orlando must be worth it, though for them to put up with such nonsense.

I pretty much agree with your comments. There’s an awkwardness about Kate that detracts, especially when she’s being informally photographed. Miranda seems more ‘comfortable in her own skin,’ more self-confident. (I think basically Kate’s always been a little bit shy.) But you’re right, when Orlando was with Kate she was subject to the exact same kind of verbal abuse and insults as Miranda is now. Some people just have short memories!
It’s incredible that 20 hypocrites with mad theories bother his true fans that much.
Orlando fans, just enjoy his work now that he has it and all the wonderful things he does like supporting environmental causes or offering a helping hand to people in need be them Nepalis or Australians.
Miranda and Kate fans, enjoy whatever it is that these girls do.

I don’t think that it is a matter of “being bothered”, it’s just that we aren’t willing to have them spout their stupidity without being called on it.
If we just let them ramble on and on without questioning their “reasoning”, we would need to re-label this site Delphi.
They don’t “bother” me at all, since their opinions mean nothing to my enjoyment of the Bloomster, but I won’t just sit by and let them fling out ny ridiculous theory that they care to.
Oh, and rumor has it that Orlando is back in LA. Now with all of their complaining that he was wasting time in Oz, instead of being with the “important people” in Hollywood, I wonder how long it will be before the first hypocrite calls him a sellout for attending a party or two. Personally, I hope that he has a blast.
