Orlando & Miranda: Sydney Sweethearts
Miranda Kerr and boyfriend Orlando Bloom walk hand-in-hand as they board a plane from Sydney to Melbourne on Thursday.
The pretty pair is helping with a telethon to raise money for the victims of the South Australian bush fires. Megan Gale and Russell Crowe were also on-hand to pitch in for the relief effort.

Well, congratulations young lady for doing a great job at the telethon.
Haven’t you heard before that miranda herself denied the engagement rumor several times? You must be living in your fairy tale dream.
Hmmm, I usually don’t believe ANY insiders, but this one has me thinking.
It would explain why Orlando went to against type by proclaiming on national television that Miranda has his heart. In the past, he would never say anything like that. He barely acknowledged Kate to the media, even after four years. But here he is now, telling the press that he is in love. Hmmmm. Something is definitely different. It’s almost like he was paving the way for a bigger announcement.
And it really doesn’t matter if they have both said that they aren’t engaged. Celebs are forced to lie quite often to protect their private lives from prying questions. Just think of all of the female celebs who have flat out said that they are not pregnant, only to reveal that they are, one month later, and that the baby is due in four months. Sure, they told a lie, but it was in answer to a personal question that should never have been asked. I wouldn’t blame Orlando and Miranda for lying, if they are engaged. They were protecting themselves. If they had said ‘no comment’, they would have been hounded constantly. And if they said yes, they would not have been able to tell their family and friends in the way that they wanted. This kind of little-white-lie is a quite common method of protection.
We will have to wait and see. But i have been a fan for a long time, and I have never seen Orlando so revealing. It’s quite interesting if you ask me.
I do think he cares about her. Whether it’s more like a little kid who’s simply enfatuated - or honest-to-God ‘real love’ - who can say for sure? He does seem more `smitten’ with her (imo) than he was with Kate, especially in the later stages of that relationship. I think he held on to that one long after it was actually over, maybe because it seemed comfortable for him - and convenient somehow. Kate herself has said they were ‘just kids’ when they met - and she’s now in a completely different place than she was back then. Who knows? Maybe this will be the ‘real thing’ for him - or not. Only time will tell.
I think that almost two years is a bit long for an infatuation.

Maybe lola is right, like 130 had posted, orlando seemed to be giving signals lately. Besides, he isn’t getting any younger.
We’ll have to wait and see if it’s indeed true.
Who cares anymore? There are so many other people, things and events going on in the world that far outweigh the importance of these two individuals. If they’re happy together, good for them. If not, then one day they’ll move on to other partners, unless they stay together for convenience. In the overall scheme of things, it’s not important. As has been said, actors and celebs who want their privacy can have it.

Why the crazies even worrying about their personal life. It is no one elses business but their own. Good on them, if they are in love and why all the second-guessing as to whether they are or aren’t? They are a couple but I think they wont last that long, from what I have seen is that they have been dating for almost a year now but that doesn’t mean they are soul mates or will be happy together forever. I think they are just having fun with each other while they can. I’m sure one day they will find other people that are very important and will understand and love them for who they are. I just don’t take them serious as a couple or a long lasting relationship.
I’m sure she one day will find a man that will want to settle down with her and she can be a housewife and live on a farmhouse in the country and I think one day that he will find a woman that will want to keep working and have a career of her own so she doesn’t have to sit around and take care of him all day.
I just think they care for each other and like to be around each other but I really don’t think that this is real love. They seem like a sweet couple but nothing more. You see nice couples all the time but sometimes when people look happy on the outside it doesn’t mean on the inside they are truly happy.
I remember when Brad Pitt and Jennifer broke up, that was a shock, they looked so happy together in their last pictures together. They were on the beach and it was romantic but then it all ended very soon after. It makes you think about the whole picture instead of what the outside looks like.
I haven’t even taken the time to read this thread, because I don’t really care what people are saying about them. What I, and the rest of his friends, care about is what is happening to him. He tells his friends that she is just a causal and convinent fling. But he is getting in deeper and deeper. He still swears it isn’t serious, but she has alienated many of his friends and even family. In fact I don’t think his mom and him are even talking now. We all think it may be some kind of contract that he cannot disclose, or she has some hold on him. We all tell him, to cut her loose, and he agrees with us, and seems ready to dump her, and then he does some stupid ass stunt like OZ. He deserves better, he is better, and I hope that he gets his act together.
Some of you guys are really fucked up, pretending to be his friend.
What Oz “stunt” exactly? Not being snapped at the DJ show or not being snapped in Valentine’s Day? I know that now the haters must be very confused after all their arguments got crashed in hardly a week, it’s a whole year’s work trashed, but please.
By the by, if you were his friend and you revealed private problems about his life including his relationship with his mom I doubt he could think of you like much more than a traitorous *****. Just sayin’.

IMO maybe the engagement rumor is true because it’s been circulating around for quite some time now.. And maybe neither the two of them don’t want to confirm it yet publicly.. I’m a fan of orlando bloom, and i know that he idolizes johnny depp, and maybe, he’s doing it the johnny way.
