Why is it always necessary to Aishwarya and Angelina. Why not call out Halle, Selma, Charlize, Catherine, and other women considered beautiful. She is an amazingly beautiful woman. But saying that she is more beautiful then Angelina does in no way diminish Angie’s beauty.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people find Aishwarya lacking in sexiness. I don’t know much about her, but I do think she is very beautiful.. but so are all the other women I mentioned. Get off the Angie hate. Stop bringing her into any post that talks about looks. Use some other examples..
I don’t understand all the threads on her.. I think they are really trying to build her appeal here in the US. Time will tell.. Although I don’t think having role in Pink Panther playing herself is going to make a big difference. Yes she is stunning, but it will take more then her face to get the interest of the US. Even though there are some who have made it on looks alone.. but that ends at some point and talent must then stand on its own.

As an Indian, I assure you, there are many people in Indian with colored eyes! Half my cousins have colored eyes, and so do I. And yes, she’s FULL INDIAN.
I was born and raised in America and I don’t mean to pat myself in the back, but even the Indian girls in America are really pretty! And as someone else said, the middle east and other parts of Asia does really get overlooked for their beauty (not just for their people, but for the country as a whole)

hey i’m middle eastern and i gotta tell that these two u mentioned are not even near natural beauty, they’ve had tons of plastic surgery done to them, but there are a lot of beautiful middle eastern ladies and the ones with real beauty u don’t get to see coz we live in a conservative society so most women are under the radar, i’m not saying these girls are ugly just that that’s not their pure beauty except for ashwariya who’s indian so i can’t comment on her coz i’m not indian.
Go to google and type in skin dyeing in India and learn how East Indian women are encouraged to dye their skin white. Learn how Western cosmetic companies are making a fortune off this horrible tragedy of Indian. See Bollywood films and know that the majority of East Indian women do not look like Rai and the others. Learn about the racial aparthied in Indian. Learn about the caste system and condemnation of their fellow Indians.

Yes she’s very beautiful and her eyes really make her stand out. But her face is round and doesn’t have Angie’s bone structure, you only have to look at the pic w/ her profile to realize that all of her beauty is in the eyes and hair. Have you thought that maybe only white skinned people were given good jobs in the country, allowed to serve in the houses of the masters, allowed to hold positions of power and authority or were the only ones considered ‘beautiful’? She is gorgeous, that’s for sure. I agree, though, there are many stunning Indian women. I bet she comes by her looks naturally, too, vs. those whose looks are manufatured under the knife or prolonged by Botox.
There are classic good looks and exotic and while she has classic good looking features, she is also very exotic.
I don’t think the dress is ugly. It’s quite vibrant in colour. I think she would look good in the proverbial potato sack, however.

And oh, the bleaching thing in India, let me explain…It is for the facial hair. To lighten it, so it becomes golden brown like the skin and disappears. Indian women it is said, have the most beautiful crowning glory…unfortunately it comes with a price, i.e. facial hair. While it is a great plus to have beautifully thick brows, it can be a bother when it above the lip or on the sides of the face. That is why they bleach their faces, put this to rest once and for all.
Lavinia, there’s definitely more to it than wanting to get rid of extra hair.

@ Radha - I met Ash before and have seen her twice without makeup - I do not believe you met Ash or you will not say such thing…you is beautiful but she does look a bit fat here - I prefer when she was thinner - but I am fully aware that in India to be skinny is not attractive maybe her husband wanted some more meet - but if she wants to make it in hollywood the sad truth is she needs to loose weight - goodness i can’t believe i said that! i am really brainwashed too lol..

THERE ARE MANY ABORIGINES WITH BLONDE NAPPY HAIR AND LIGHT EYES. They have no caucasian in them. And they may not be albino. Because they’re skin color is still BLACK.
It depends on the ENVIRONMENT from which you’re from. I’m South Indian-American. I have family members who are darker than Africans and others light as Caucasians and even have those with Asian almond eyes.
My parents are perfect example of this.
My father has beautiful black skin (but different from Africans or African-Americans in tone somewhat), with jewish/roman/greek-like nose, medium-full lips and curly hair. My father takes it as a compliment when people compare him to blacks, especially famous blacks. Lanky, strong, average-height body. Use to be a writer and teacher in India.
My mother is light tan (like Ashwarya Rai) with almond Asian-like eyes, the smallest Irish-looking white type nose there is, and fine straight hair like an Asian, and full lips like Angelina Jolie, and body is perfection - like a sports figure.. tight all over and beauitful hands and feet (i’m jealous). Use to be an athlete in her younger years in india.
Both are from the Southern tip of india. I have relatives with hazel and really light, greyish-brown eyes (we call ‘em cat’s eyes).
I’ve seen Sotuh Asians with black skin, bluest eyes you will ever see, and HAIR that is a MIX of BLACK (not brown) and BLONDE (bleach blonde).
I came out looking Hispanic. I have people speaking to me and hitting on me in spanish on the street all the time. Annoying! But people have compared me to Selma Hayek and Penelope Cruz (whether or not you like them, i don’t see much resemblance, I think i’m better looking, LOL…).
