Relax, Shanny. If you’re capable of objective reading, try seeing that I did not make specific assertions about Leo, I was simply responding to the statement you made in general, that it doesn’t really hold water as an argument. I don’t care if Leo, or anybody else in Hollywood for that matter, is gay or straight; it just doesn’t affect me one way or the other. You, however, seem very defensive about the subject and have a negative attitude.

Why is thinking somebody might be gay considered “hating”? I personally don’t have an opinion about him one way or the other, but if somebody does think he’s gay, how are they a hater?

Kelly, I will respond, with the truth: sometimes it is a necessary evil for him to fly on a private plane, given his profession. To claim that this is not ever necessary is not only unrealistic, it’s stupid. And in case you’re unaware (which I’m certain is the case, given how little you seem to know), he has acknowledged this. In public. To the press.

However, as a rule, he flies COMMERCIAL. You need somehow to get this through the thickness that surrounds your brain.

Kelly, I`m pretty sure that even if he flies private once in a while he still did way more for the environment than you ever will. If you don`t like him that`s your business but at least he is trying to raise awareness in his own way.

I would love if it were true and that he and Lucas are these supposed lovers. At least that way Bar wouldn’t continue on sucking him dry. All this success she’s had over the past 3 years has been b/c of dating him. Meanwhile she’s been the one stealing all the limelight and success from him. His career was going much better when he was dating Gisele. Ever since he’s been with Bar it hasn’t been the same. And that is because she is jealous of him and when you have jealous people around you that don’t want to see you succeed and that want to steal your limelight and your success and the things you have worked so hard to earn, eventually all of it just flows away and goes to the other person Notice how much her life has improved since 3 years ago. Notice how much his hasn’t?
and to get back to the gay thing, if Leo was gay and was dating Lucas, he’d be much better off than being with Bar and having her suck him dry of all his good luck that was meant for him to have, not for her. But she is taking it all away, and will continue to do so. Mark my words.

Actually Cane, you’re right. Reading back through my post it actually does sound like I”m “rabidly” defending him as you say LOL. So I’m going to have to back track a bit and say that I DEFINITELY don’t see him as the victim here at all. I re -read my post and it does sound like I’m saying “oh poor Leo”, but no that’s not how I feel about it. I think it’s his own fault and now he’s gonna have to deal with it and continue having this girl steal the spotlight and the success he’s worked so hard for since he was a kid. That is just the way it goes for these actors that like to date pretty models that are just their to use them and get more rich and famous at their expense. So now he’s paying the price and that is something he’s gonna have to continue to deal with. That’s his problem !!
I don’t idolize Leo, I just don’t like his girlfriend and find her extremely crass and repulsive. If she was dating some other big actor, like say, George Clooney, Johnny depp or Brad PItt and using them and sucking them dry, I’d be saying the same things about her. I just don’t like her and believe me it has nothing to do with Leo or whether he’s gay or not. I don’t care about what his sexual orientation is and he is not my idol.
I just dislike his girlfriend and what she represents because it’s because of people like her that decent women are disrespected and raped and abused and treated like sex objects. It’s absolutely amazing to me that anyone with any modicum of intelligence could possibly believe that DiCaprio is gay and hiding. If he were gay, he’d have the balls to be open about it.

What this post proves me is that he rather spends time with one of his best friends and his mom than supports her gf and her `success`.
I`m surprised that Jared failed to mention his girlfriend in this post since JJ is usually so eager to attach Leo`s name to hers. I guess Bar needs Leo but Leo doesn`t need her. LOL

Leo and Lukas are absolutely not gay. They and their group of close friends are as loyal and caring as if they were the best family imaginable. Vicious rumors are just that… vicious. With so much talent plus compassion for the environment why not honor someone so remarkable… why spread vicious rumors?
