OlderChris Brown Releases Official Apology
Chris Brown has released the following statement via his spokesperson:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”
Chris, 19, and his girlfriend Rihanna, 20, got into an altercation in Los Angeles on Feb. 8.

We might not have all the details but the FACT is he commit and assault&battery that is a CRIME! I don’t give a rat’s ass who it is. You do the crime then you have to do the time. what the media reported is wrong? even the 911 tapes? the witnesses are all wrong too? what is he saying, choking rihanna around the neck was his version of cpr?

first of all if your going to post a comment make sure you know correct grammar. excusable means that what you did was ok and that all is forgiven. inexcusable means that you don’t condone the action. secondly, no one knows what happened, so until the full story is out no one should formulate / speculate on what happened. also, you never know if she hit him either. my philosophy is that if a woman can hit someone she also better be able to duck and cover as well.

I think it is a bit sad that we are so quick to judge someone when we know very little about what occurred that evening. He has obviously done something which was wrong and there is no question about that but before being the judge and jury based on what is said by the media…. as we know they are always so accurate with recounting facts!!!!! why don’t we just mind our own business and let the people involved judge for themselves what sort of person Chris is.

Who cares really? Considering he was the one cheating at the time, it’s possible HE had contracted herpes from some ****** girl.
Why are people acting like he owes the public an apology? He didn’t commit a crime against any of you. He did something horrible, yes, but the only ones he has wronged are Rihanna and also his devoted fans because he let them down. It seems like most of you wanted an explanation more so than an apology but as people have mentioned, he can’t say much more because it may be used against him in court. He covered this basics with this apology (remorse, seeking help) and he didn’t make any excuses for his actions so I think it’s satisfactory for the time being. Also, in no way did Rihanna deserve to be beaten but I don’t think she is as innocent as people seem to think she is.

I doubt he has apologized to Rihanna (or her family for that matter), and I doubt he ever will. Chris is a little boy who pretends to be a man by beating up his girlfriend.
