OlderChris Brown Releases Official Apology
Chris Brown has released the following statement via his spokesperson:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”
Chris, 19, and his girlfriend Rihanna, 20, got into an altercation in Los Angeles on Feb. 8.

Only small, bitter people refuse to forgive a BOY who made a mistake and is trying to handle it as well as he can.
I’m glad he made the apologies, and I believe that 90% of what we’ve heard are rumours.
And to all the people saying that he should go to jail for beating on a woman, are you saying it’s okay to beat up on a man?
In that case, 80% of the rap artists there are out there should be locked up as well.

We may not know the details of why this happened but we do know that he beat her badly. And I’m sure that this isn’t the first time he has done it, just the first time he got caught. The females who are posting here saying they support him must have no self-esteem.

yuck, who told him to release this ridiculous statement? He doesn’t apologize, show any sort of contrition, and only is seeking counseling from his “Pastor?” When’s the last time this kid even went to church, give me a break. This kid needs some freaking shock therapy and lithium!

yes what he did was wrong .. there is absolutely no reason out there that should allow a man to beat up a woman regardless of any reason ..

Chris Brown made a mistake .. a MISTAKE. his mistake was a huge one that could have potentially cost rihanna her life but at the end of the day he is human and he’s going to make his mistakes..
Calling him a loser and saying his apology is fake isn’t going to help anyone in this situation .. He knows what he did is wrong and the first step into taking responsibility for your action is admitting that you have a problem.. He clearly has a problem with abuse and he’s doing all he can to fix himself.. So stop trying to tear the man down..
what he did was wrong but no one knows what EXACTLY happened so stop jumping into conclusions.. He’s trying his best and he has a problem.. Stop trying to tear him down even more than he already is..
Instead pray for him.. hope that he can get past his problems and hope that he can seek help and find it in himself to get passed what he’s done.
pray for rihanna and hope that she’s doing okay and that she’s able to recover from this horrible situation..
pray for both of them.
Chris may have done something terribly wrong .. but that doesn’t give us the right to call him this horrible person because of one incident where he deeply screwed up.. think of all the good he’s done.
all the charities he’s helped out.. all the great things he’s done.. this was out of character for him and it’s disapointing as a fan .
but more so i’m not supporting him because i’m a a fan i’m supporting him because he has a problem and those that are stumbling need help getting back up and turning their lives around for the better i hope that chris can turn his life for the better and get through this tough time for him .. As well as rihanna.

Ah yes, throw yourself on the Bible, church and pastor. Show the world what a Christian you are. This is the usual defense of criminals and it plays well. This is a person who used his babyface persona to throw people off and now he’s using the Christian repentence angle because if works.
There was a similiar case at my place of employment where a male worker brutally beat up one of the best looking women in the hospital. I include this because as many here show there’s a pattern of trying to destroy feminine beauty which is a sub-category of the total abuses women have had to suffer these many centuries. Anyway this man began talking Bible, and church crap just like Chris.
He must go to jail., prison. If Paris Hilton can go and Martha Steward for the petty crap they were framed with then Babyface Nelson must go for his crime and an example for a entire genre of males who believe this is OK. It was not the first time he’s hit its just this was so bad it couldn’t be hid. If he ‘forgiven’ as he’s hoping naive Christians will do it will happen again. He’s been fooling people all this time.
I love how people excuse him becuase he is a ‘human’, I’m sorry but I’m a ‘human’ too and if I did what he did it would be a big deal, it isn’t just becuase he is famous.
After beating the bejesus out of Rihanna he goes off to vegas to party like it’s 1999 all over again like he’s big man on campus! He’s only issuing a statement because he got caught THIS TIME! It’s not the first time he’s raised his hand to her so “sorry” won’t cut it!!!!!! He’s just sorry he caught. Guess now he’s going to get lawyered up and hide behind his celebrity status to stay out of jail and do it again this time to a non famous woman who definitely won’t be calling the police, because he’s got the power.

Exactly!!!! As most abusive men will say, she made me do it, she made me so angry. Chris Brown is responsible for how Chris Brown reacts to any situation that makes him behave as a criminal. He can’t blame Rhianna, the devil or anyone else for his criminal assault.
everyone makes mistakes but some mistakes are just too big to brush under the carpet.CB has issues that have to do with violence since childhood (his mother was a victim) he mentioned on the tyra show ) that being said , you would expect him to know better than to abuse women. I feel so sorry 4 Riri and i cant imagine what she is going through. I hope she can get through this .As for chris , i think its unfortunate that he has to learn the hard way . You cant beat up people just because you can!!
