OlderChris Brown Releases Official Apology
Chris Brown has released the following statement via his spokesperson:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”
Chris, 19, and his girlfriend Rihanna, 20, got into an altercation in Los Angeles on Feb. 8.

OK. i honestly dont know what to think. i love chris brown and rihanna
and i jsut cant believe this. honestly. im so angry. i got the new weekly this morning, and when i read what it had to say on the attack, i cried. literally. his apology isnt enough. but im not going to bag on him, like everyone else is, i still love him, yet i cant listen to his songs anymore, it doesnt make sense. im just a confused fan. I feel so sorry for rihanna, she doesnt deserve this, no one does. Its amazing how perfect you think peoples lives are, and how perfect their relationships can be, and then you hear something like this. i still just CANT believe it, and dont know what else to say. i do believe that we should leave it all alone, until we hear what really happened, because no one really knows. as much as you all say you know, you dont. so just leave it alone, seriously. your not cool.
lol ..How can we ask God to forgive our sins and acts of viloence towards our fellow man..And we can’t accept an apology from a young man who realized that he made a mistake?
I am sorry but he actually didn’t even need to issue an apology to US..He only had to say it to Rihanna..

I mean he can apologised a million times but the physical and emotional hurt will leave a scar in riri’s life forever..I mean,the apology is made via his people,not him..It shows he’s not sincere enough & it’s a case of too little,too late..Actions speak louder than words..He shouldn’t have hurt her in the first place and why bother apologising now?i It doesn’t mean anything..It wouldn’t erase the ugly incident..Violent,irresponsible and hot-tempered chris brown is..Only he knows if he really regrets his dumb mistake..I hope he doesif not ,no more supporting his career 4 me.. :(
People can’t forgive him because of their judgements towards him. Think about it ? What if he was truly suffering from this situation and that he meant each and every word of his apology ? Regardless of the mistakes his made. It can’t all be his fault, Rihanna must have done something to cause such a reaction from Chris Brown. There’s something you call ” FRAUD ” and ” RUMOURS ” Though, admittedly his career might be over but so what ? Everyone deserves second chances. There’s a chance that other celebrities men have attacked a woman but more or less hidden it. Give him a chance and a BREAK. His seeking help at the moment, if he really meant to hit/attack Rihanna i wouldn’t understand the point of seeking help and feeling sad about it and being concerned over Rihanna’s sake when he should be worrying about himself. And if he didn’t care about the situation he would have been walking around with a smile on his face like as if nothing ever happened. Everyone has their ups and downs. Don’t think that just because his a celebrity that you can put him down so much. His going through enough. Maybe Rihanna should cut the crap a little.

what would you say if your neighbor had been chocked unconsious by her man, all the while threatning to kill her?? or, you happen to witness a man violently beating a woman on the street ? would you not call the cops and try and give a full description? its called empathy.or maybe the stupid girls who support chris were beat into thinking its ok to get a whooping once in a while by their daddy!
I’m sick of people making comments along the lines of ‘he made a mistake, we all do it.’ I can’t say I’ve ever made the mistake of deliberatley putting someone in the emergency room (let alone a loved one). A mistake is littering in the park or going 5 miles over the speed limit. It takes a sick person to beat a woman to a pulp like that (no matter what she did) - it wasn’t friggin ‘mistake’ it was an act of true cruelty and violence.
I’m sure she did do something to cause a reaction from him - she probably acted like a human being in a relationship. Don’t you have a family, a friend or a partner? When people are close they can drive each other INSANE at times - it happens. That doesn’t give anyone the right to be violent! Often my family with catch me in a bad mood and really aggravate me - I want to tear off my own head - BUT that doesn’t change the fact (even at the time) that the thought of them coming to harm fills me with fear, outrage and sadness. I’d never wish harm on a loved one (that’s messed up).
