Dita Von Teese is Teal-tillating
Dita Von Teese enjoys some girl-bonding on Valentine’s Day (Saturday, February 14) in Paris, France.
The 36-year-old burlesque star, who wore matching Louboutins, just wrapped up her final performance on Sunday for her two-week ‘nude revue’ run.
“Performing at the Crazy Horse means a lot to me. The first time I came to Paris, it’s the first place I went to,” she says.
Dita continues, “I’ve seen the show 20 or 30 times. I was obsessed with it and all the people who had been there since it first opened in 1951. I thought it was very strange that all the US presidents would go there when they came to Paris. That would never happen nowadays… It’s a different time.”

No, # 8, she’s a burlesque performer who makes millions and seems to have a preference for retro clothing. I don’t think she harbors any delusions of being a socialite, but she needs a new make-up artist.

I’m always torn when it comes to Dita…on one hand I think she’s got a unique look, but on the other hand nothing about her looks approachable. It’s such a hard retro look and not at all touchable.
I bet she’s really pretty first thing in the am with no make up.
It’s just too over the top for every day life. She should have left this vibe for appearances and red carpets events only…people want to see the real Dita sometimes and not always the facade she covers herself in.

Tonight, in Florida, Dita Von Teese performed at LIV Nightclub in Miami Florida. All gay fans who truly adored her (one with a massive tattoo of Von Teese) were turned away at the door. Any heterosexual, big breasted, blonde girls or Ken doll looking people jocks, got in immediately. DESPITE THE GUEST LIST, if you were gay or “looked weird” or were over-weight, you were turned away. Vonteese’s manager could not be bothered with the discrimination, nor could the nightclub’s owner. Therefore…all gay fans, some of whom traveled 100 miles, were turned away, with no consideration of any kind. It is SAFE TO assume DITA WOULD HAVE BEEN HORRIFIED, HAD SHE KNOWN WHAT WAS GOING ON. AT LEAST ONE HOPES SO.
The overweight–the gay–the true fans went home disappointed–whereas the straight Barbie & Ken Doll patrons got to see Dita up close and personal. Although…they could have cared less. They didn’t even know who the HELL SHE WAS.
