OlderGayle King Rejects Chris Brown’s Apology
Gayle King, aka Oprah’s BFF, has rejected Chris Brown’s apology.
She tells Extra, “Right now I can’t think of anything that makes me support anything that Chris Brown is saying at this time. And my heart just aches for Rihanna.”
Gabrielle Union adds, “I know them both. Unfortunately, no one knows all the facts yet…What I think is great about this unfortunate situation is it can get us talking about violence…Violence is never the answer. It’s good to get that dialogue started. I wish this wasn’t the catalyst for that…It’s never good to use violence as a means to an end.”
Akon encouraged Rihanna: “Keep doing what you’re doing baby. Keep things positive! She’s a strong woman. I think she’ll get through it….”
Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku gave her two cents, saying, “Any way, shape or form of domestic violence is inexcusable in my book.”

Gayle King would not be speaking out on behalf of women if she didn’t have some facts from this case.
No man or woman (white, black, brown, red, yellow, or purple) should lose their senses and ability to control internal anger to the point of inflicting such violence on another human and, especially, a woman. You all have grown-up with violence to be tolerating it as you do. All of the supporters of Brown need to enter anger management and psychotherapy along with him.
This young woman deserves a mature relationship that doesn’t provoke jealousy on her part and one where her physical or psychological wellbeing is ever threatened again! No man or woman is worth getting jealous over.

I feel bad for Chris. not that much for Rihanna since she has the “victim” image….most celebs are for her and will support her like most of the rest of the world. People will always defend her. She’s the poor little sheep. Chris, on the other hand………good luck. that’s the only thing I can say. I’m against violence yet I like his music and think he’s one of the best entertainers out there but true that what he did is unforgivable. I truly feel sorry for him. Why on earth did he do that? I wanna know……..there’s must be a |good| reason….hopefully I’ll get to know the truth someday…

In the end, what we all say is inexcusable in our books doesn’t mean ****. If Rihanna wants to forgive Chris, or if she doesn’t is her business. Every one has something to say about what happened except the right people. What CB did was wrong, but he doesn’t owe anyone a damn apology except rihanna. So everyone (celebs included) need to wait untill we hear the whole story. No one knows what happened except CB and rihanna, but most of you guys are judging as if you we’re there your self.

Yesterday it was Will Smith and Jay Z, today it is Gail King. Tomorrow it will be the Reverend Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Oprah Winfrey, or Nick Cannon. Everyone knows it was bad; celebrities jumping up to get some publicity does NOT help the situation. Rihanna needs to speak out against domestic violence and NOT take the scumbag back.

I think what Chris brown did was wrong and he should have to pay the consequences for it and get help. But as far as we know it is his first offense he should be taught on how to treat a women and not hit her, and not be told on how ‘bad’ he is.
What he did was wrong but one mistake should not determine what kind of person he is.

I think every one is speculating on the matter..Yes Ri got her A** whopped because of heated argument .i don’t think any one in there right mind ..Know what happened in that car..It was an argument that escalated into Violence..So simply blame Chri B is crazy and so too RI…It was a fight..It was an argument..Shoulda ..coulda..Woulda..Yada yada..Well some wants to make Chris the villan of the story..Maybe understanding the problem or rather the incident is easier for people to comprehend..So they choose sides..For me..He is just a Young man..A human being with flaws like all of us..
