• Clint Eastwood sure has a knack for this directing thing. The silver-screen legend continues to prove his prowess behind the camera, this time with “Changeling,” a suspenseful film bolstered by a remarkable story and stupendous performances. Tabloid darling Angelina Jolie is in the lead for Eastwood, and she gives her best performance since 1999’s “Girl, Interrupted.” Jolie won her only Oscar for “Girl, Interrupted,” and her “Changeling” role has earned her a leading-actress nomination for Sunday’s Academy Awards.

There are far more negative (and just plain mean and vicious) comments about Jen than Angelina and this post wasn’t even about Jen. Where do you Angelina fans get off saying Jen fans are obsessive? I could give or take Jen myself (wouldn’t call myself a fan but I don’t dislike her either), but this seems glaringly hypocritical.

Also some of you clearly have only a passing knowledge of the English language. Stop hanging out on this website so often and go back to school.

Are a lot of the commenters here 12-year olds? If so, carry on. Then it all makes sense.

If we inherit a situation, we still have the responsibility to manage it after our inheritance and not blame it on the previous decision maker. Of course, in running a company, or a country, we need time to make the changes, change the direction of where a culture is headed. But if after 8 years or 4, you’ve taken a company from bad to worse, there is no more blaming the past. I truly believe it’s a simple as that.

Easier said than done. What you said may work for a small company. But may be very hard to right a “big ship”. It;s not like flipping a switch. It takes time and sometimes, it’s hard to “root out” all those wrong policies done by your predecessors. Most of the time, it’s always adopting a “bandage fixing” approach. Just take a look at the lax code, whenever there are changes, it gets even more complicated. Plus, in Washington, there’s always those private interest group, lobbying hard to the politicians. I tend to trust what the Time mag list and their analysis.
