Bar Refaeli Dates a Shyguy

Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model Bar Refaeli arrives with her shy boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The pair is back in town before the Academy Awards kick-off on Sunday.

The 23-year-old’s recent swimsuit cover has received immense attention around the world — including Dubai. All copies of the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has been confiscated in Dubai simply because Bar is an Israeli model. This comes days after Israeli tennis pro Shahar Peer was denied a visa to participate in the Dubai Tennis Championship.

I`m with Mara, Leo won`t go since he wasn`t nominated. I`m sure he/they will go to after parties but not to the award show.

My point is that besides the parties ( pre or after ) I don`t think he is going to the show since he is not nominated. I wonder why are there talks about them going. Because they arrived together to LAX a couple of days before the Oscar???

Leo doesn’t want to pose with girlfriends. In 2007 he brought Bar at the Oscar after party (so he will probably do the same thing this year). He went with gisele in 2005 after dating her for 5 years. It was a more serious relationship.

The only possible reason for him to go is to support Kate which makes sense since they are good friends but I still don`t think he is going or going to walk the red carpet without a nomination. But you are right, Mara, we`ll see on Sunday.

I don’t really get the hype on Bar…of course she is pretty, but I do not see supermodel…her face just doesn’t wow me…I think she’s gotten a lot of attention b/c she is Leo’s gf and because she is Israeli (I may be completely off here- but isn’t she the first really popular Israeli model?)…I’m just not really getting the fashion hype on her yet…

BTW, the WTA Tennis tour should have dropped the Dubai tournament and boycotted because they banned Shahar Peer from playing…I wonder how quick they would be to act if a tournament banned Serena and Venus Williams because of race…I know the sponsors are important and they would lose money, but by playing in Dubai, they are condoning the behavior of racist haters…I was shocked that the WTA Tour didn’t appear to take a more firm stand against the Dubai tournament…

Cool kids, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli arrived at LAX yesterday after a busy few weeks. Leo stopped by the Armani party in NYC the other night while Bar’s been promoting her hot SI swimsuit cover. Now the two are back in LA together, just in time for the Oscars where Revolutionary Road is up for a few trophies — don’t forget to fill out your ballot for a chance to win a year of free movies. We’d love to see Leo bring Bar on a red carpet, though rumor has it her parents want him to convert to Judaism before things get any more serious.

America’s favorite fake couple is on the loose. They never have shown real affection to each other, not even once. The one time Bar kissed Leo, she practically forced herself on him and nearly bulldozed him. Leo had to use the umbrella as a crutch so that he wouldn’t fall and hit his head on the cold concrete. They are a fake couple as French has stated.

Leo ISNT going to the Oscars and Bar isnt going anywhere. If Leo was going to the Oscars Bar would still wouldnt be going. Leo and Bar will not last. Leo is seeing someone undercover btw. Bar is basically a front.

There isn’t a single photo where they look in love! Maybe in their private lives is different, I don’ know. When I saw photos of Leo and Gisele was different. They look each other with love even without a kiss! I think Leo and Bar don’t love each other, maybe he likes her (I don’t know why, she seems so stupid in some interviews) but she has just to thank him everyday for her carreer!
#61 there aren’t photos of them at the after party but there were rumours of it and she was with him at the Golden Globe pre-party this year (no rumour)
