Bar Refaeli Dates a Shyguy

Leonardo DiCaprio made as low-key an appearance as possible at Global Green USA’s 6th Annual Pre-Oscar Party. “Leo went to support everything Global Green is doing,” said our insider. The baseball-cap wearing movie star didn’t want to leave girlfriend Bar Rafaeli’s side, so they snuck upstairs so he could spend time with Rafaeli and pal Kevin Connolly. “Leo didn’t want any paparazzi to get a shot of him and Bar together, so when they left, he had Bar go with Kevin. They were waiting in Leo’s hybrid car for a while before he dashed in,” our spy dished.

Isn`t it interesting how often the NY Daily News ( that`s where this was posted ) has a sighting of Leo and Bar ( always together ) that you cannot see or read anywhere else? Never a picture and never an other source. How lucky that newspaper is for their exclusive spies.

well, lol, and I thought I’m the only one who noticed it…(especially in Bar’s favor). they KNOW always what he thinks and why he does something in a particular way, you know (for example: they KNOW he “…didn’t want to leave girlfriend Bar Rafaeli’s side…”, “…Leo didn’t want any paparazzi to get a shot of him and Bar together, so when they left, he had Bar go with Kevin…”)

I would understand it (that he’s hiding her/his relationship with her from the public eye), IF she were a very private person and wouldn’t want to be noticed from the media.
BUT Bar IS a public person, nowadays more than ever, and WANT to be seen and being noticed in the public! So, what’s the problem for them here, that they don’t want to be seen together?!? Especially since EVERYONE KNOWS she IS his girlfriend and they ARE together (at least officially)…
Wouldn’t it be a much better help for his gf’s career, when he would supporting her in this regard by being seen and photographed w/ her together?…I just don’t get it…
If I were her I were pissed being treated like that and would actually doubt I’d mean much to him…

SI swimsuit issue used to be different, with real models and taste. That`s why it was a big deal to be on that cover IMO. It changed, SI lost its original direction, the swimsuits are disappearing from the swimsuit issue. Only one thing remained the same and that`s the hype around it. Bar`s name is going to be well known IMO for a while and will score good jobs but it`s not going to make her a real fashion model. She is always going to be Leo`s girl.
I agree that she is a downgrade for Leo. I just don`t get it why is he still with her.
While in NY earlier this week they were seen out separately, never together and then all of a sudden there was another NYDaily News sighting of them having dinner with friends. Isn`t it interesting that it was again NYDN that had the exclusive sighting of Leo and Bar together? And it was NYDN that had the quote from Bar`s father that Leo must convert to marry Bar? I`m sure it`s just a coincidence.

it’s just another rumour created by bar (i think she know someone who work for NY Daily News)
if she is not at the oscar (it’s sure she will be not there) and Leo is there some days later it will have a rumour which will say that she was at the afterparty ( like at the golden globe)
