I was on a jury where a guy attacked his girlfriend with a knife and cut her neck so bad she was in a wheelchair for life and she was 23. Paralyzed from the neck down. He slashed her face, too. I hope Rihanna takes this as a wake up call. It could have been much worse, as bad as it is, now she could be dead, or even permanent damaged.

I am a woman who also suffered from domestic abuse in my relationship. I know that you all feel sorry for her, but your condolensences aren’t going to help. This kind of stuff takes time to heal. And to everybody that is saying that she needs to dump Chris and forget about him, that is probably going to be the hardest thing for her to do. Yes, she has the media and her fans telling her that she needs to leave him. But i’m pretty, almost positevely, sure that she still loves him. This young lady been through enough, without photos like this being leaked. First of all none of us were present when this unfortunate episode took place and are relying solely on media coverage which we all know can be sensationalist at times. This coverage is at best 2nd or 3rd hand and accuracy can be questionable.

Looking at the photo in all honesty I can say its not that bad, some scratches and a little swelling perhaps and sensitive areas on her forehead. Her eyes are not bruised and swollen shut as some media sources are reporting she just has them closed for the picture and it looks like she still had some eye makeup on. She is not unrecognisable, you can clearly see and tell it is her. I am not in anyway condoning the cause of her injuries I have worked in victims support and have seen women in real life and pictures who have really been battered by truly evil men and this is very mild in comparison but still unacceptable nonetheless.

People have jumped on the CB should go to jail, get his butt whipped, I hate him, lets burn his CDs etc bandwagon without hearing the real facts from both sides of the story which will not emerge until he goes to court.
