Happy Birthday, Rihanna!

Rihanna’s 21st birthday is today, so her close friends placed a birthday greeting in the local Barbados paper, the Nation News [via Us]. The message reads:

“Happy 21 Birthday to Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
Amidst all the negativity about Ri Ri.
God will continue to bless her.
That’s why you are so great, Ri Ri.
From Sharon, Shane, Kim and Rashane.
We love you.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RIHANNA! Stay strong.

Los Angeles Police have launched an internal investigation Thursday to determine who leaked a photo of a bruised Rihanna post-altercation.

“The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official Domestic Violence investigation. The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence,” the LAPD said in a statement Thursday. “The Department launched an immediate internal investigation and subsequently filed a personnel complaint. A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.”

My son is a big fan of Rihanna’s, and he looked at the
photograph of Rihanna, that is supposed to be of her
battered face, and he said that the photo looks like it is
not Rihanna at all. In his opinion the top half is of one woman,
the middle part is of another woman, and the bottom portion
of the photo is of a third woman.

I have to agree.

I do not think that this is a photo of our sweet Rihanna
at all.

And I hope that it is not her.
