Check out this exclusive shot of High School Musical stars (and real-life couple) Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens singing and dancing their hearts out on stage at LA’s Kodak Theater while rehearsing for one of the biggest musical numbers of tonight’s 2009 Oscars.
There are a number of other singers and dancers that pop on stage during their performance including one gorgeous dream girl and some blingin’ dancing queens. Let’s just say musical worlds collide!

i really did lose some respect for the Oscars when they invited Miley Cyrus to present last year. i get it, you want ratings. but thats a pretty low way of getting it.
im starting to prefer the BAFTAs now even though im a hardcore American. you dont see them inviting Disney stars or people who cant act for their life.

Who the f_ck cares if ‘Zanessa’ have more fans than the nominees? Not only that, I beg to differ. These Disney stars come and go, but ACTORS (yes actors, not stars) like Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet and Sean Penn will forever be remembered.

Not only is Jodie Foster already popular, she’s very talented AND she’s bankable. She doesn’t need some crappy little fanbase like you Zanessa fans have.
For you idiotic Disney star fans, it’s all about popularity, but never about talent.
I say whatever it takes to bring interest back to this stuffy, boring show, I say, WOO-HOO!! I never miss it every year, and even I admit it is a boring show. The last few years have been pitiful.
So, throw in some talented young blood, like Anne Hathaway, Beyonce, and Zac and Vanessa, and you’ve suddenly got a pulse going again!!! What is the problem??? Not many actors can sing and dance, and I think it’s FABULOUS that they invited young actors, like Zac and Vanessa, to participate in the show!! It’s not like they’re up for an award or anything, so what’s the frickin’ problem??? They will add to the SHOW, and let’s face it, it needed new blood. It, in no way, takes any respectability away from the nominated actors to have enjoyable performances in between.
