Can you find out what designer Daniel’s suit was? That was a very nice suit, satin trim at the lapel and turned up cuff!

Interesting dress choice. I’m glad to see there was more color on the red carpet. Daniel looks great…Wish I was his girlfriend.

the color was technically described as “watermelon” although in some other pics it looks darker and much nicer
i dont think she felt comfortable in it after awhile, as you can see she isnt really smiling as much as she did two years ago

Can’t figure out why Lainey is such a suck up to Sats. What is she intending to get out of it?

Hi everybody!

After being up all night watching the Ocars on the Internet (thanks to thread head you found me that great link), I am finally waking up. But tonight will definitely an early night for me.
We’ve discussed the Oscars in great detail here last night on the other thread, and we also looked at a couple of pictures on gettyimages. Definitely not much affection between the two at the after-Oscar party. And…this is the first time I felt sorry for the ‘gal pal’ (what’s that supposed to mean, anyway. A football buddy, lol?). I think she was totally out of her league there last night.

Thinking about the dress again, what strikes me once more is the lack of effort. This dress was obviously expensive, but it was the wrong style and colour. If she maybe had worn it with some ‘attitude’, like accessorised it with some jewellery, worn a different hairstyle, and definitely a different lipstick, she might have been able to have done something with it. But, it looked like she had thrown it on in a hurry, and it was hanging on her like, yes, curtain is the right description. The Oscars are only once a year, it’s a big event, and I’d say, even if you hate it, if you are not into dressing up or into clothes in general, for that one night, maybe, she could have put more thought into it. And smiled more. But maybe, she doesn’t have much to smile about these days?

As to Dan, even if he doesn’t like these events, he was asked to present three awards, which I presume is a bit of an honour, isn’t it? As a true professional, he should not have left early (and we are talking in the first hour), but supported his British colleagues and his film Defiance. Somehow, I feel it was not very gentlemanlike. You know, Danny. Next time you are wasting a good seat, ask me to sit in your stead ;)
