you’re right; if one of them was not feeling well they should have gone home. not to the party afterwards. that being said, he still shouldn’t have completely ignored her. even if he was angry with her. he just kind of left her hanging; so to speak. makes me wonder just what exactly is going on with their relationship. you would think that he would want her at his side even if he was discussing business.

There’s really not much to figure out. This relationship is on its way out. And just because something is over doesn’t mean you can’t remain friends. How many on here who have been married before remain friends with their ex. Not so unusual really.

But then he still does have the option of not taking her to such events - he could go on his own…

Right now, I’m not so sure - I used to think that he could go solo. It’s been said that he hates these events but is obligated to attend and sometimes present - price of fame I guess. I’m sure a part of him wants to be a “B” actor again so he can fly under the radar.

I’m really trying to think of other actors with a similar story to his, as far as him being a “B” actor for years and years and relatively unknown in the states, but then gets a big break in his late thirties. Anyone know of any one else with a similar career story?

I’m sure he realizes he only has a window of a few years to make alot of money off of his acting. He probably plans on getting more into the production side of things with his earnings down the line.

Daniel knows that Qos.Bond is not liked so much, he made good money at the cinemas, but maybe he feels discontent ?

Sarah Jessica Parker was the same. Not noticed for years and can still walk down the street until Sex and the City made it big but she was married already and accepted her fame more graciously.

he really begins to be quite arrogant, he is tired and relationship with Sats doesn´t make happy him. He feels emptiness and impassivity too.

in relationship with Heike he was normal and happy man, but in relationship with Sats he is confused, unsure, unhappy, tired. He got a part Bond and he little changed his behavior, he began hard work, travel with sats around the world, he began to be arrogant and more cold, because Sats helps with it.

Yes, Dan put so much effort and enthusiasm into Quantum of Solace, and I’d say although he might have been delighted about the box office success, I’m sure he is also very much aware about the criticism, and because he loves acting so much, that might hurt (although most critics agreed that Dan was great, but the script and editing were flawed).

I don’t think Dan will retire. He might go into producing a bit, but his heart is in acting. He might go back to the stage…or will later on down the line ‘do a Clint Eastwood’ (whose latest film got some raving reviews), ie play some complex older characters.

I just don’t think he has become arrogant. His life has really changed and he has really been working non-stop for the last four years. I think even though he likes the money he is making now, he doesn’t like all the drawbacks that go with it. Now that he is achieving what he was always working for he probably realizes he doesn’t like what he has to give up in return for it. I think instead of arrogance what you are seeing is cynicism and disillusionment about the business. I have faith that he is going to eventually get it all worked out in his head and will follow his path to happiness. It just may take some time.
