Nicole Kidman Pays Tribute to Angelina Jolie
Nicole Kidman (in L’Wren Scott) takes the stage with four former Oscar-winners (Shirley MacLaine, Sophia Loren, Halle Berry and Marion Cotillard) to honor the nominees for Best Actress. In the same vein, Adrien Brody, Robert DeNiro, Michael Douglas, Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kinglsey all paid tribute to honor the nominees for Best Actor.
The 41-year-old Aussie actress paid tribute to Angelina Jolie for her role in The Changeling.
She ended her tribute with, “Angelina Jolie - You are unforgettable!”

Don’t be a horse’s butt. If you’d seen the Hours then you would know why Kidman got the Oscar. For some reason a lot of folks like you don’t like her, but she has commanded an impressive body of work. Her films have produced over one and a half billion dollars in revenue. With the exception of two of her films, all of them have made a great deal of money–enough to pay production and marketing costs and have money leftover for profit. Just because her films don’t do well in the US doesn’t mean the rest of the world is as ignorant as you. Her films do fantastic abroad. And she deserves the accolades she gets.
Excellent tribute, specially coming from another amazing beauty like Nicole. Two talented Geminis. And I agree that Angelina is simply unforgetable, but she is more than that, she is breakingly fascinating.
1) The Academy requests that members present months in advance. Such things are in cement before Christmas.
2) The academy does write what is spoken by the presenters. However, this year, it was allowed that the past winners could ad lib. Kidman ad libbed the “unforgettable part”. I only wish McClainne’s hadn’t ad libbed so much over Hathaway.
3) There is no real or imagi8ned animosity between Kidman and Jolie, stop reading tabloids.
4) I watched the Oscars, Anniston was obviously very comfortable, warm, funny, and had no issue with the Pitt and Jolie being in the front row and a few feet from her lengthy presentation.
%) Jolie was seen during Anniston’s presentation in close-up and was also genuinely smiling and laughing.
it is obvious that the tabloid/blog feud is total hogwash.
I think the tribute is great coming from another amazing beauty as Nicole Kidman who is also very talented. And yes, both are Gemini’s s and very unique.

Jolie looks her age. Those who you clamor over for looking younger than their ages are young because of botox and plastic surgeries. White skin, though beautiful in tone, ages most among all skin colors. White girls at 20 show crow feet and from then on their skin wrinkles at faster a rate other races.

While I don’t think she’s 100% natural, she has not changed drastically from her teen pictures, and is beautiful, lines on face, flaws on body, et al.
Yes, she does look her age. Kate winslet and Angelina are both aging naturally unlike some of the men in the room. *cough Brad cough*

Sorry, I do not agree. Angelina Jolie does not look her age, if 33 actually IS her age. I highly doubt this. She gets botox, hyalurone or collagen injections on a regualr basis, facials, etc., and still looks 45 at best? Do you think her liver disease (hepatitis c ? or so) or the drugs she has to take make her look older?
among the boring and phoney moments of the evening and the only genuine ones were Cuba Gooding for Downey,Douglas to Langella and McClane to the annoying Hathaway.

It is well known fact that Maniston is addicted to alcohol and that she is smoking a lot! That is way her face last night looked so strange. Because of all drugs and botox and plastic surgeries, she destroyed her nose with that much plastic surgery. How insecure she is? That is way she never had children, she is afraid of being fat after that! Maniston even said that she hates her mother because she is beautiful, especially when her mother was younger, Maniston thoungt that she is ugly. Now, she is obviously crazy, I really can not understand what was Brad doing with her.

Some news reports are saying that Nicole’s delivery of the speech was “cold” and “frosty”. I think that’s just her nature though.

The dark-horse nominee arrives to watch over the ceremony (and bestow pity laughs upon Jennifer Aniston) in a black Elie Saab gown. IMO, Nicole’s speech was the least flattering and the least complimentary (she discussed mostly the film and not so much Angelina) AND

Also, agree with whoever commented about Brad and Angie together–there was not much interaction or affection shown.
Oh dear the loons are really out. They see only what they want so Brad and Angie could shout their love for each other from a rood top and the trolls would say it was an act. They are truly hindered by their hate to see the truth of anything. But to my surprise they really believe that John Mayer is not a paid escort. Taylorswiftfan and Diane, why do you have to turn a good thing, like a lovely tribute from Nicole for Angelina into a bashing of Nicole? Nicole did not have to be a presenter and she also is not a person to give a beautiful tribute in an insincere manner. Nicole lives in Nashiville with her adoring husband Keith and everyone who has met her in Nashville has only good things to say about Nicole. Why would Nicole leave her lovely home in Nashville to travel all the way to L.A. to give a speech that she did not believe in? Even if Nicole read the tribute, that does not automatically mean that Nicole did not mean every word of it. That was a very lovely and caring tribute and you should not take it and make something bad out of it. Everyone who personally knows Nicole says that she is very kind and humble.
Diane, what an ugly thing to say about Nicole! She won an Oscar fair and square…Oscars are hard to come by; everyone who wins one deserves it many times over. Nicole is a very fine actress as many directors, producers and actors will agree. Grow up you two, Diane and Taylorfan. Nicole has had enough bashing. It was JJ’s choice to have a brief article and a picture of Nicole…it’s his site and he should be the only one to select his topics.
Neither of you personally have ever met Nicole. Those were very unfair and unjustified comments you made about Nicole, especially from two people who have never met her.
Leave Nicole alone and go do something useful and postive, maybe even do something kind for someone. Nicole is a very talented actress and a very sincere and loving, caring person. She definitely does not merit any of the vindictive remarks you two made.
Yes, I am a Nicole fan and I am proud to be a fan of one of the most talented and good hearted persons you could ever meet according to people inside and outside the film industry who know and have worked with her over the years.
Come on you two, don’t slam someone for no reason. I would think you would have more intelligence than that!!
