Nicole Kidman Pays Tribute to Angelina Jolie
Nicole Kidman (in L’Wren Scott) takes the stage with four former Oscar-winners (Shirley MacLaine, Sophia Loren, Halle Berry and Marion Cotillard) to honor the nominees for Best Actress. In the same vein, Adrien Brody, Robert DeNiro, Michael Douglas, Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kinglsey all paid tribute to honor the nominees for Best Actor.
The 41-year-old Aussie actress paid tribute to Angelina Jolie for her role in The Changeling.
She ended her tribute with, “Angelina Jolie - You are unforgettable!”

Out of the five presenters, Nicole was the perfect choice to talk about Angie. Her speech perfectly encapsulated what Angie brought to the character of Christine Collins. It was an incredible performance, which was recognized by her peers with nominations not only from the Academy but also the SAG awards.

Thankfully, we live in a country where everyone can express their own opinion, here is mine. I enjoyed the Oscar Show more than any I have ever watched. Hugh Jackman was such a entertaining host. Hope he returns. I am a fan of Nicole Kidman and think she look beautiful and gave a sincere tribute to Angelina as a nominee. Whether they wrote their comments or merely read the teleprompter, the past winners introducing the nominees was a great idea.
Kidman and Jolie worked with each other before. Jolie & Pitt produced “God grew tired of us” and Kidman was the narrator in that movie.

Angelina Jolieis already an Academy Award winner, she didn’t lose at all. I even believe that she knew already that this year’ s Oscars is not for her. She genuinely congratulated Kate Winslet. Katedeserve this honor more than anyone of the nominees. She has great talents and a very genuine actress. She was nominated many times, at last justice is given to her now. As for Nicole Kidman,her sppech was fabulous and for those who say it was frosty, Nicole isn’t known as a very warm person anyway, it’s just her personality. The two women even share the same passion, enjoying motherhood and love for children in need. I’m sure her speech was more than heartfelt.

Nicole’s tribute to Angelina was WEEEEAAAAKKK!! It wasn’t as personal as the other former winners to the other nominees. Nicole just read what they wrote for her to read. Or maybe that was her homework assignment but it was weak.
I was hoping angelina would win too but Kate winning is fine. I mean, she was naked in that movie… kekekeke…

I don’t see Jolie as a fragile, insecure person. She marches to her own beats, mistakes and all, never blames any one for her mistakes. That to me is strength and confidence.

Indeed Brad knows exactly what he got himself into. After all when he got into her, he was forty, not an age one could claim “so and so tricks me into saying/doing this or that”.
