Vanessa Hudgens: Vanity Fair Vixen!
HSM stars Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron smile for photographers as they arrive at the 2009 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Graydon Carter held at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood on Sunday night (February 22).
Looks like things got too hot for Zac and he decided to take off his jacket!
The pretty pair also walked the red carpet at the Oscars earlier in the day, prior to their performance during the show!

The Oscars seemed just too over the top with the musicals and not enough about the actual people who were up for the awards. Was this the Tony’s or the Oscars?
Hudgens and Efron looked so out of their element I couldn’t believe they were invited. He looked like a dork and she was so dolled up her make-up made her look like an old lady.
Soon they will fade away and no one will even remember their names.

Nothing too spectacular from this couple. they were just hanging out and slummin with the rich and famous of Hollywood. As a couple their appearance was uneventful,,,,,,,,horrible on stage. She looked provocative and he looked dumbfounded. What do you expect from Disney kids?
I thought they looked great! I am happy that Zac’s didn’t represent that helmet hair style…it was much softer and he looked great when he was presenting with Alicia Keys. I like Vanessa’s dress and feel it could have less flowers on it, or they should have been more defined. Zac has a big Hollywood career ahead of him, and he’ll do just fine…Vanessa should concentrate on her singing in which I thought she sound great singing with Zac…unlike her whiny Gabriella voice.
well people the performance was really good. zac said it was an honored to be a part of it.even only small participation. van dress is beautiful i love it.
These are rising stars. They both look gorgeous and totally relaxed with each other. They knew it wasn’t about them but made a presence letting the world know “we’re the next generation”. They did great. Vanessa has a sweet voice.

Sure Zac was all smiles on these photo’s and on the red carpet but once inside and he was standing between Vanessa and AnnHathaway whose behind did his hand wonder onto certainly not his gf but instead it was Ann who was getting felt up by mr efron, got he ghets worse first it was Megan and now Ann and all Vanessa got was a hold around the waist.
And once inside juddging by the photo’s posted elsewhere Zac looked as though he just wanted to get away from Vanessa, she looks groegous and is leaning into him obvioulsy happy to be their and enjoying herself but Zac just has a vacant look and shows total disinterest in his girl and her emotions, must have wished Megan or Ann would show back up then maybe he would have cracked a smile.
And where do people get that he is whispering in Vanessa’s ear it’s so clear that he’s looking behind her and is no way whispering to her, to busy looking for other women no doubt.
And Vanessa does’nt have her ring on either wonder why not?

I’m so happy and proud of them. What an honor to be invited to perform at the Oscars and they did awesome. They owned the red carpet and worked it like pros and as usual, Van featured in so many best dressed lists and this is her first time at the freaking Oscars! (Gee, she had her gown custom made by a top designer, way to go, Van).
I love that they got to mingle with the A-listers and chat with them. She looked adorable in her pic with Halle Berry and Alicia Keys and their pic with Anne H was just fab.
The great thing about their mingling is that no matter what these big stars read about them, they’ve met them personally and can disregard the crap.
I get emotional thinking of how far they’ve come and the amazing opportunities they’re getting. They were a bit starstruck themselves and this is just the beginning. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. They’re so blessed.

Everything about them is perfect. They look so awesome and they performed great. More power to them.
Gorgeous couple. In all the pics and videos of the 2 after parties they were at, you can just see how in love they really are. Zac hardly let go of her all night. Had to be touching in her some way - The looks of adoration between them - Vanessa was smiling and so poised. Too cute.

The proof is in the pictures from the after party and again it would seem that I’m not the only one who notices that Zac has wondering hands on other women and doing it right in front of his gf, sure that’s a great bf to have doing stuff like that in public learn some respect Zac.
Rat, you are such a moron. How you can bypass hundreds of stunning pictures of them, looking at each other, his hands gripping her, his arms around her at the afterparties, the way he stares at her, the way they performed gazing at each other, is beyond me. You pick ONE photo, where he just has his arms probably at the same height on each girl, and Anne is just MUCH taller, so it’s lower on her. BIG FREAKIN’ DEAL.
For some stupid reason, my comment is awaiting moderation, but I just wanted to say that it was an amazing evening for these two!! They looked stunning, and so in love. Their performance was beautiful- they were very in tune with each other, and sang perfectly. So much better than the Mamma Mia pair, who barely glanced at each other. Nothing says it better than the hundreds of gorgeous pics of these two, and the interviews, where they are constantly gazing at each other. No one lights it up like these two.

Just wonder how is Zac being hypocritical ?
They are a young couple on a night out and having a good time.
And as it’s been said it’s great to see them so relaxed and Zac looks really happy holding Vanessa’s hand or keeping his hand on her waist and her close to him. This would have been nice to see at HSM preimers so I’ve a feeling that if I was them I’d be glad to be leqving Disney behind and know that they can show PDA when they want to and not get told off for it, they and and the rest of the HSM cast have made Disney a ton of money but to me Disney came across as to controlling at events, everyone knows that Zac and Vanessa have been together for 3 year’s and it has never affected their work when they have been at events, their kinds of feelings they have for one another should’nt be shut away as if it was something that was wrong. They have been nothing but professional when it’s been work related. But they are 20 and 21 now so good for them for being able to relax at a event and show affection.

I really proud this two the way they handle everything especially their relationship. respect to each other. helping to each other etc.But rat you need to learn to respect this two when it comes to relationship cause they are not fake like you.
the rat tries to make a mountain out of a mole hill once again, its really pathetic and it makes me wonder what you’re motivation is.
they both shined, big time, not only in their performance, but also as a couple. they held onto each other the entire night. what i found really telling was that at the start of the carpet they chose to walk ’separately,’ yet mid-way through began walking together, arm in arm, or hand in hand, smiling, laughing, and as reported by some kissing their way down the remainder of the carpet.
what i’m finding truly amazing–and i might add i am so happy about–is obviously now that they are done with HSM, the confines they were under by disney to downplay their relationship are gone for good, and that now allows them to just be themselves without worrying about how they are behaving or if they’re words or actions will be censored.
the breakup hasn’t happened, and ryne sanborn recently said in meet and greet fan vid (posted at VABN btw) when asked if he thought they would get married……
“i don’t know, but I don’t see them breaking up anytime soon.”
this was on the 21st.
so for everyone who believed their love affair would fizzle with the end of HSM, i guess you’ll all have to find something else to be delusional about.

He is very natural and humble in interviews and just in general. She is so rehearsed and coached in her answers. I wish she would just relax a bit. People would like her more if she weren’t so contrived and always trying to say the perfect thing. Pretty and can sing though.

I don’t think Vanessa is contrived or coached in her answers, and she has really improved with her interviews. In the past, her comments have been twisted and misinterpreted, so I think she is careful about what she says. There’s nothing wrong with thinking before you speak.

So happy about all the wonderful reviews Vanessa and Zac got after the Awards!! For anyone interested, there are dozens of links here, and Vanessa got high praise for her gorgeous looks that night…….they were absolutely beautiful.

For all the pessimistic and malicious “nonfans” who judge Mr. Efron to be a dim-witted, devious person and behaving cunningly—”behind his girlfriend’s back” I think someone so fallaciously put it:
Vanessa Hudgens was knowledgeable of Zac Efron’s meeting up with a former costar for lunch. This young lady, a fellow actor, invited both Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens to lunch. However, Ms. Hudgens had a prior commitment and could not attend.
And to the children who are faint of heart: Zac Efron’s having lunch with another female has no bearing whatsoever on his and Vanessa Hudgens’ personal relationship. This young man is not “sneaking around” or behaving deviously.
Zac Efron has unwavering principles and is a decorous gentleman.
Woo-hoo for unwavering principles and decorous gentlemen. I truly believe that is what sets Zac apart from the norm in Hollywood, and that he respects his relationship. I would love to tell his parents they did a wonderful job instilling those values in him, and how nice that he lives by them.

Karen, I’ve had that happen to me many times. It will say “comment is awaiting moderation” and then it never posts. Or did yours already post and was removed? I think he has the settings to look for certain words, not necessarily dirty ones, either.
Anyway, I also think Zac is a gentleman. And it would be nice to let his parents know they did a super job raising him. From having a good childhood, his roots are firmly planted and he is grounded in reality. He HAS a reality. So many of the young crowd in Hollywood don’t have a reality and they keep searching for it.

Either Zac or Vanessa should be able to meet up with anyone they like for lunch, male or female. They owe nobody an explanation. As was here Zac did nothing to hurt or embarrass Vanessa and for them there was no question about trust and faith in each other and that is all that matters. And if someone wanted to cause trouble or was not entirely trustworthy in their intentions then I have no doubts Zac or Vanessa would set that person straight and have no further contact with them.
There will always be those who will want to cause trouble for these two young people for whatever ridiculous reason but what is worse is the fans who get all bent out of shape because they are wanting to write their own fairytale for this couple and when it don’t go the way they think it should then they make everything a high drama. Neither Zac or Vanessa have shown anything other than respect in their relationship towards the other. I tip my hat to them too.

Well, I just posted another comment that was similar to my first one and voila! it posted without problems. I do realize certain words even if they are not profanity will keep a post from going though but as you see there was none of that. I also emailed about the moderated comment but it continued to be moderated. Then I came back again much later and it wasn’t there at all. I emailed again and then it showed up again as being moderated. I have no clue as to what is going on. But, will say I am sorry if similar comments show up for me. duhh, Zac is polite and friendly toward everyone, male and female. But he IS a gentleman in regards to Vanessa, and very protective of her and their relationship. I call THAT a gentleman.
For Real,
Most of those people who make those comments prove to the majority of us that they really don’t understand how to love someone in the first place. These two have both had great models of what is takes to make something work. We can see the mutual respect and admiration for each other.
Frankly, I feel that Zac is blessed to have a girl that unequivically trusts him and pushes him and encourages him to be all he can. she doesn’t seem jealous or put off by his success, or the people he is around. I’m sure sometimes it is hard for her, but she handles it very well.
To say that, when someone has that kind of love and admiration, and trust for you, it is easy to treat them with the same respect. Of course he is a gentlemen. She gives him no reason not to be. And the fact that she would not show up and give the media the reason to run a frenzy over something so stupid, as well as allow their immature fans to freak is just another testament of our private they are and how they don’t give a care about what the public would think.
Vanessa has said it but maybe those who are ignorant need another reminder, “Those who love us, and are close to us, they know what’s real and that’s all that matters.”
Please let me know they do have a broader fan base than children, an let them know that many of us admire their work, and recognize their relationship as private, but enjoy following that part of them because it speaks volumes of their maturity and of who they are as individuals. I will forever be a Van fan first, but I love Zac because of how he treats and respects our girl, and that is enough to make me keep a close eye on his career and follow him as a fan as well.

I think we older fans, because of our life experiences, see a maturity in Zac–especially in his interviews and in his relationship with Vanessa–that the younger fans can’t possibly see.
I was just reading the Zac interview from the French magazine that is posted on JJJ. I had already read it somewhere else.
Anyway, I really don’t think Zac said this part about the LA premier of HSM3:
On using his fame to get stuff: “No way! Abusing of your status will, sooner or later, end up being a bad thing. It’s the boomerang effect, you know… And anyway, even when I try to use it, it doesn’t work. It’s funny because the other day, at the LA premiere of High School Musical 3, I was late and couldn’t find a place to park my car. So I tried to go to the VIP parking, but the guard didn’t recognize me. I insisted, saying who I was, but he didn’t believe me and told me he already heard this before. Eventually, I found somewhere to park my car, but I had to pay! Incredible, right?”
We all know he went to the premiere in a limo with his mom, dad and brother. And there was a picture of the limo stopped where Zac, his dad and Vanessa were standing by the car. There would have been no parking issue. Plus, he never drives to any of the premieres. Maybe the magazine got the event wrong and he was driving to something else.
And, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m finding “zac is a rat’s” cynicism toward Zac extremely humorous. Her comments are so over the top cynical, stupid and ridiculous that I find myself laughing. Hyperbole at its best from a very sad, insecure person.
zac is a good guy. he’s nice to everbody. :)

Zac only has this week to get ready for his Sydney and Melbourne premiers, which are next week.

I can only assume that the person who posted that did not intend to wreak havoc, but instead isn’t good at grammar and doesn’t understand misplaced modifiers. I’m sure what the poster intended the sentence to to say was that Vanessa and Ashley are BFFs, thus the “BFF costars Vanessa and Ashley.”
So it should have been “Zac, girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens and their BFF co-star Ashley Tisdale all signed hardhats to benefit Habitat for Humanity. ”
See, folks, sentence structure does matter or you will end up throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
