OlderAnna Paquin & Stephen Moyer Couple Up
True Blood costars (and real-life couple) Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer keep close at the 2009 Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at the Sunset Tower on Sunday (February 22) in West Hollywood.
The romance between Moyer, 37, and Paquin, 26, first sparked at the True Blood audition, but the couple decided to wait to go public.
“The reason it was dodged last year was very intentional on both our parts,” Moyer tells TV Guide Magazine. “It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn’t feel it was fickle, and didn’t feel it could possibly potentially encroach on their lives, you know, just like, ‘Oh the two stars are having a thing.’ We didn’t want to take anything away from the show. The show is the star, not the two people having a relationship… It’s just exciting and that was there from day one. We always take the piss out of each other and are silly with each other and it is great. We’re very, very happy. She’s the best.”

Well she has to be a blond for her role in True Blood since it’s based on a book series. It follows the books really well, one season = one book, there are ten books and various short stories already, so she’ll have the potential for working a long long time. :)

They’e filming season 2 of True Blood right now and since vamp looks (in the TB-universe at least) really don’t change he has to have a perpetual 5 o’clock shadow, playing the disheveled-yet-gentlemanly Bill and all. they’re chemistry makes me like their coupling more than what the books allow, which veers (**BOOKSPOILERS**) to Sookie being with other guys after the 2nd book… most importantly Eric!

Yoooo people, if you knew anything about the books then you would know she has to have blond hair! I am on the 8th book and they are all great. I can not wait till the 2nd season. I think she is even lovelier with blond hair and she doesn’t look like every no name actress…she has very unique features.

Thanks juju821 for setting them straight. They are both mature, centered people who just happened to find a connection. It can’t be easy working & living their personal lives. Although I would love to see more of them, I’m thankful that they are under the Paps radar & can live in peace. I LOVE TB and reading books at same time now as watching.
