Good to see they still hang out together whenever they can. Bloom couldn’t choose a much better friend who’s also in the business than Eric in my humble view. Eric makes a great ‘role model’ both as an actor and as a human being. He was the best thing about an otherwise sucky film (Troy) and he was fantastic in Munich. Love his sense of humor and the fact he seems so down-to-earth and hasn’t let ‘Hollywood’ change or corrupt him.

I LOVE Eric’s sense of humor. The video of him on Leno doing his impersonation of Orlando is priceless.
He really seemed to take his role of ‘big brother’ very seriously. And the fact that they are still friends, speaks volumes about both of them.

@78 You really have a problem with reading don’t you. I’ve been a member at OL for 4/5 years and and I never said I was frustrated with them or the rules, I’m just frustrated about YOU! What we say in PRIVATE messages is none of your business, it’s as simple as that and you will never find out. LOL Also, who died and put you in charge?
Grow a pair and take your problems with Delphi over there, I’m not a member there. What’s the matter, having problems believing the OL members are just as bored?

And to your friend @80. I have never and will never go into miranda’s thread at OL. Why? Simple enough, I don’t care who the man shags, that’s his private business. With that said, I don’t dislike Miranda, I have no reason to. Never met the girl, never will. If you wanna defend your friend May here, atleast try and make some sense.

I’ll admit O-Love has become a crushing bore as far as ‘intelligent conversation’ is concerned. But it still is the best source for pix and Orlando-related ‘news bits’ which is why I still check in there periodically. (I pretty much ignore all the inanity by skipping over most of the, imho, ‘mindless gushing’ that goes on non-stop over there.) I thought it was a much more interesting place when ‘Elf Lady’ was in charge and still had some interest in all things Orlando. Many of the original posters are gone now and I can’t feel any rapport with the new group. Some of the discussion certainly does get unbelievably silly!

Ka-Bloom used to have some halfway intelligent discussions - except that it was always so heavily censored by the mods that threads would be closed just as things would really start to get interesting! The IMDB forum is dead now - a pale shadow of what it used to be. Fans (and I suppose ‘anti-fans’ as well) lost interest because for far too long there were no real film projects to discuss and all that was left was his ‘personal life’ ad nauseum.

oh come on! intelligent conversation? since when? even during lotr & potc days it was about squeeing over his looks. the only thing that’s changed is former fans don’t leave anymore. they set up shop to ruin things for the rest.

Eric is a sweet guy who seems totally genuine to me. There don’t seem to be any false pretenses where he’s concerned and what you see is pretty much what you get. Of course it also doesn’t hurt that Eric is one hell-uva sexy man!

What gives you the right to think you can dictate to Orlando Bloom what he thinks and feels about his girlfriend Miranda Kerr??

If he wants to tell Australia that she has his heart in her hands, that is his business, whether you like it or not!!

You say it’s not about jealousy, but deep down you know that it’s true, it’s all about your irrational dislike of a person you have never met because she is with Orlando, end of story!

All the BS about “showmance” and “publicity” or “she has something on him” is again just another way to deny to yourself that they are in a genuine relationship, you know it, I know it, everybody knows it.

I think that it is funny that you resent people trying to tell you how to feel about Orlando and/or Miranda, but you yourself have said that you can’t understand how people who like her can’t see the truth about her. So, it’s OK for you to try to dictate how someone feels, but not the other way around? Is that right? Or did I misunderstand your rant?

A guy is an idiot for spending time with his girlfriend? really? Wow. My husband must be a real moron, because we spend time together, too. I’ll have to tell him how stupid he is for valuing my company.
