OlderJohn Mayer Gives Jennifer Aniston “Moral Support”
John Mayer attended the 2009 Oscars with girlfriend Jennifer Aniston on Sunday and admits he was “very, very nervous.”
Here’s what he spilled on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show while promoting his cruise line, the Mayercraft Carrier 2 [via Us]:
On not really fitting in on the red carpet: “It’s not my world, the Oscar thing. You can go from a Grammy winner to a water boy when you walk in the Kodak Theatre on Oscar night. That’s just like a whole different level… So the idea of walking down a red carpet is such … you know that forever, I basically stepped into the picture frame of Hollywood. For one night, I put on the most amazing suit and entered into the picture frame. You have to really be with someone that you know who has your back in that situation, and she did, and it was really great.”
On using Jen’s connections to meet people: “[I asked Jen,] ‘Will you please introduce me to so-and-so?’ It was really, really fun.”
On needing to grow up a little: “As men, we’re incredibly sensitive about the decisions that we make with the women that we’re with. I’m the kind of person who’s like: If I’m going out with a friend who’s bringing a woman and that friend brings another friend and I have to sit on one side of the table with that other person I don’t know, I have a terrible time because I always feel like people look by and go, ‘Oh, look who he’s with!’ The whole thing is very odd to me. I maybe need to grow up or something.”
On why he and Jen decided to make the Oscars their first major public event together: “At some point, you feel comfortable and say this is the choice I want to make. I think a year is a pretty good period of time with which to say, ‘Let’s go have a really good time at the Oscars!’”

Have you taken the time to read Angelina’s amazing and heartfelt book as to her UN travels available on Amazon? No of course you have not? Are you aware Angelina has been with the UN since 2000, paying for all her costs? Are you aware that Angelina and Brad support a couple of villages and reclamation projects and medical clinics in Cambodia? Are you aware that Brad and Angelina have given $5 million plus to NOLA for Katrina homes, and that they also pay for the education of kids in the area? That they have given money to the USO for kids of soldiers killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan? That they helped found and provide support to a foundation in Brad’s hometown for kids who lack basic needs like food, clothing, medicine, shoes in the public schools?
No fo course you do not, you are too busy reading and regurgitating tabloid lies.
You are the sort of lowlife that is the reason that more and more people, especially women, are beginning to be totally disgusted with JA. You are a replica of the woman you support, full of self pity, never accepting responsibility for your actions, selfish, behaving as if a 2005 divorce mandates a lifetime of sympathy.
Woman with any degree of self confidence are appalled at any one who makes the type comments you did about another woman. These type women flock to Angelina who never complains, lives a life filled with love and family, goes out of her way to help others without any expectation of rewards, maintains an acting career at the very pinacle of success ( her films in 2008 made over a billion dollars) and carries herself at all times with grace. Angelina never says anything negative about anyone else, she is not that type of person.
JA will sadly never ascend to the pinacle of success she desires as an actor because she lacks the ability to venture out of her comfort zone, and her heart lacks empathy for others. Just like you.
John Mayer is a perfect match for her.

It is about compassion and unparalled generosity and human decency. Pitt and Jolie are changing the lives of MILLIONS of people around the world. Imagine the satisfaction of feeding, clothing and educating children whose lives will be forever improved because of these two people. Maniston, conversely, thinks ONLY about herself. How anyone can support this USELESS woman is beyond me.

Okay, this is how I think she looked Sunday night:
Dress:
Very, very pretty and she wore it very well. Didn’t glam it up with too much jewelry. I’ll give the dress an A.

Hair:
Same ole same ole and as if that wasn’t bad enough, she put a braid in front like some kind of hairy headband. When is she ever going to let go of that stupid Rachel? She’s 40 years old and it’s not doing anything for her any more. An up-do would have looked really classy with that dress. Hair gets an F.
Makeup:
Gag. Somebody needs to tell Aniston that after you hit the big 4-0, when you pile on the makeup you pile on the years. You need to tone everything down, especially the blush. She looked like somebody hauled off and gobsmacked her on both sides of her face. And that color blush clashed something horrible with her orange tan. Leathery orange skin + big pores + too much blush = disaster. And the lipstick was all wrong. She should have gone with a light gloss. They put the lipstick a whole half inch outside her natural lip line to make her lips look plumper and it was glaringly obvious under those bright lights. Whoever did her makeup should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail. Makeup gets a big fat F.

Now I’ve seen a lot of these posts myself and all I can say is that some of you have some really wack ideas about J-P fans.

You didn’t see Reese Witherspoon acting like Chicken Little when her man left her. These ladies handled a devastating situation with class and grace. They didn’t go whining to the media about “missing sensitivity chips” or whatever the hell Aniston was whining about. They got through it, got over it and put it behind them. This how a classy lady behaves. Something Aniston has never learned.

Hi Jill I love reading your posts and the last one was spot on, re-other couples breaking up. some of these JA fans act like Brad and Jen are the only couple to have had a public break up. It is so obvious to me that B&A are much better suited-same interests etc, maybe when Brad was younger he prob liked holidays, sunbaking, but was prob getting fed up when he met AJ. Brad seems so happy and fulfilled with kids and charity work!! Do these people think B&J should of stayed together to keep them happy-No Way!!! I actually forget at times that Nicole & Tom were even married, Jen needs to move on, but that Mayer is a fame lover and might poss dump her in front of media AGAIN. Anyway thats my thoughts for today!!!!
