OlderJohn Mayer Gives Jennifer Aniston “Moral Support”
John Mayer attended the 2009 Oscars with girlfriend Jennifer Aniston on Sunday and admits he was “very, very nervous.”
Here’s what he spilled on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show while promoting his cruise line, the Mayercraft Carrier 2 [via Us]:
On not really fitting in on the red carpet: “It’s not my world, the Oscar thing. You can go from a Grammy winner to a water boy when you walk in the Kodak Theatre on Oscar night. That’s just like a whole different level… So the idea of walking down a red carpet is such … you know that forever, I basically stepped into the picture frame of Hollywood. For one night, I put on the most amazing suit and entered into the picture frame. You have to really be with someone that you know who has your back in that situation, and she did, and it was really great.”
On using Jen’s connections to meet people: “[I asked Jen,] ‘Will you please introduce me to so-and-so?’ It was really, really fun.”
On needing to grow up a little: “As men, we’re incredibly sensitive about the decisions that we make with the women that we’re with. I’m the kind of person who’s like: If I’m going out with a friend who’s bringing a woman and that friend brings another friend and I have to sit on one side of the table with that other person I don’t know, I have a terrible time because I always feel like people look by and go, ‘Oh, look who he’s with!’ The whole thing is very odd to me. I maybe need to grow up or something.”
On why he and Jen decided to make the Oscars their first major public event together: “At some point, you feel comfortable and say this is the choice I want to make. I think a year is a pretty good period of time with which to say, ‘Let’s go have a really good time at the Oscars!’”

Trannyston is and always will be an insignificant person, shallow and no substance at all, no wonder she’s always dumped by men. Being Rachel Green can only get you so far with relationship till it get stale and the men starts to move on. The longest relationship she probably have is with her therapist haha.
When John said he’s going as “Oscar boyfriend”, does that mean he is boyfriend for this event only? Does it mean John is getting paid for accompanying Jen?

People, stop saying Jen looks good for a 40yr old. That’s like a back-handed compliment. Agree her body rocks, and she dresses young, but sorry, her face looks 40+. She needs to stop smoking and stop sun worshipping. As for John, I don’t trust him. He looks like he has a hidden agenda. She can do better.

Thats why Mayer is such a famew*hore, look how its all about him!! About his feelings, when it was all about Aniston. HE was just a mere escort to an Oscar presenter, it was not a big deal for him. So from what he said to seacrest, he came not because he wants to support her but he wants to be in the HW arena.

1. You seem like a nice person but you obviously are smart too by not jumping on the bandwagon of being an jenlover/angiehater just like I have chosen not to hate jennifer Aniston just because I love Angie.
2. To prove to thses other idiots that fans of Jen and fans of Angie can be FRIENDS.

Jenn is a whinny cry baby. Jenn is not nor will she EVER be a strong independent woman. Why do you think all her old boyfriends and 1 X are all now happily married with kids. She is so vain! For instance, has anyone seen her without a spray tan in the last 5 years, she’s always pushing her bangs out of her face - God forbid if there was a hair out of place, and she had 2 nose jobs (that we know of) but said she had problems breathing!
