Kate Winslet Keeps Warm in West Village
Oscar winner Kate Winslet fishes for her gloves as she tries to keep warm in New York City’s West Village on Tuesday afternoon (March 3).
The 33-year-old actress picked up her youngest child, Joe, at school later in the day. She kept her golden statue close as she arrived in New York after the Academy Awards. She won Best Actress for her performance in The Reader.
Hugh Hefner has offered Kate a Playboy shoot. He shared, “There’s no question we would be interested in Kate. It’s a competitive market, more than it used to be, so she would be a most welcome addition in our pages.”

i love how even with no makeup on and even when she’s frustrated by the paparazzi who are no doubt annoying her, (usually she is fine unless they are being obnoxious) that she is still adorable. Natural beauty. And pathetic paparazzi needs to leave Kate alone. Just becaus she FINALLY won an Oscar doesn’t mean she’s another one of those tabloid tarts. She’s a real actress and that’s all she wants to be. Love her! Beautiful speech at the Oscars this year!

There was a paparazzi video of Kate (from TMZ I think) with her Oscar at the airport and they asked her about the Hugh Hefter/Playboy thing. She just said ‘Uhh no comment!’ but she sounded really disturbed by it, lol! Her rep said it’s not something that interests her. So don’t count on Kate doing Playboy! Smart choice, Kate :)
