Kate Winslet Keeps Warm in West Village

Oscar winner Kate Winslet fishes for her gloves as she tries to keep warm in New York City’s West Village on Tuesday afternoon (March 3).

The 33-year-old actress picked up her youngest child, Joe, at school later in the day. She kept her golden statue close as she arrived in New York after the Academy Awards. She won Best Actress for her performance in The Reader.

Hugh Hefner has offered Kate a Playboy shoot. He shared, “There’s no question we would be interested in Kate. It’s a competitive market, more than it used to be, so she would be a most welcome addition in our pages.”

She looks beautiful! As always. Yeah she’s too classy for Playboy. There was a paparazzi video of Kate (from TMZ I think) with her Oscar at the airport and they asked her about the Hugh Hefter/Playboy thing. She just said ‘Uhh no comment!’ but she sounded really disturbed by it, lol! Her rep said it’s not something that interests her. So don’t count on Kate doing Playboy! Smart choice, Kate :)

did this photographer ask Kate is she would mind he he took this picture? Perhaps she would appreciate a little privacy. She’s been picked apart, over analyzed and scrutinized more than any woman I’ve ever seen. Did she flinch? Did she deck anybody? No. She should’ve. Especially her stiff upper lip pals across the pond. I defy any of them to do what she has done this past year.
She handled this dizzying tour with dignity and grace.
Looks me like she would like to rest.

I don’t like her or her acting. She seems snobby and pretentious and her acting is too OTT for me. drama drama drama all the time. BORING!

If she posed for Playboy it wouldn’t surprise me, she is practically the highest paid porn star on film anyway. You guys really think she’s all that classy? I’m sorry, but classy actresses wouldn’t appear naked in every film they’re in! Hypocrites!
