Alicia Keys is Michelle Obama

Alicia Keys does her best impression of First Lady Michelle Obama in this new photo from Glamour mag’s tribute to American Icons.

The mag even had stand-ins for the Obama daughters — Malia and Natasha (Sasha for short)!

Alicia has said of Michelle, “She has worked hard for everything she’s accomplished, and done so with grace and humility. So many women and girls can identify with her story.”

It’s insane that all you of have jumped from complaining about the lack of representation of African Americans in the media to now whining about the lack of darker-skinned African American represented in the media.

Well, this is just wrong! I mean, they think Sasha is the short for Natasha? If they wanted to call her Sasha at home, they should named her Alexandra, ’cause only then Sasha would be her short name. And Natasha is already short name/nickname for Natalia.

ENOUGH WITH SKIN COLOR!!! sheesh isn’t this what we are trying to get away from??? Wasn’t that one of the big things involved when electing Obama to office? If you aren’t going to discriminate against dark people why discriminate against Alicia for being a little lighter than Michelle?

Alicia is the way a woman should look, white or black, she doesnt have a long nose or thin lips,and she has a nice length of hair.. but i will give my dark skin sistas love… you all are beautiful with that chocolate skin and at least you got that smooth ageless skin, when have you seen a old wrinkled up dark skin woman, no botox or face lifts for you! Plus the lips and the bootys that most dark women have is just the best, Im a black woman light skin and sometimes im jealous of my darker skinned sistas… i got the lips and booty though!

I am not really surprised at all the darker skinned black women out there making negative comments. As a white woman who exclusively dates black men I have heard from them how insecure darker black girls are and now I see it. You should feel honored that Allicia agreeded to do it. Michelle is a wonderful first lady but she is no beauty Alicia keys is beautiful to everyone that is why they used her. You all should go to therapy and work out your issues over your skin complextion. If you are so peace loving why does it matter what skin tone someone is?? You dark black girls are racists.
