Bullies Locked Miley Cyrus Up In Bathroom

Miley Cyrus describes her pre-teen years as “friendless, lonely and miserable” in her new memoir, “Miley Cyrus: Miles To Go.” Here are some other excerpts of the book via Acccess Hollywood:

On the haters during her pre-teen Tennessee school days: “The girls took it beyond normal bullying. These were big, tough girls [known as] the Anti-Miley Club. I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm… [They locked me in the girl’s restroom during class.] They shoved me in. I was trapped. I banged on the door until my fists hurt. Nobody came. I spent what felt like an hour in there, waiting for someone to rescue me, wondering how my life had gotten so messed up.”

On being challenged to a fight: “It seemed like Operation Make Miley Miserable was escalating to a new level. More like Operation Take Miley Down. Three girls strutted up and stood towering over me. My stomach churned. I clutched my grilled cheese sandwich like it was the hand of my best friend. It pretty much was my best friend those days. I was done for… They started cussing me and telling me to get up. I sat there, frozen. I didn’t know what to do. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I wasn’t chicken. What could they do to me? I was surrounded by people. I stood up, still a foot shorter then they were, and said, “What’s your problem? What did I ever do to you?’”

On ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, who she refers to as Prince Charming in the book: [When I first met him,] it felt like the whole world stopped. Nothing else mattered. [The day we broke up was] the hardest day ever. Deep down I know we weren’t being our best selves. And that was what I wanted — and thought I deserved – in a relationship.

On writing the hit song “7 Things I Hate About You” for Nick: “[I wrote it to] punish him, to get him back for hurting me [but the song is] about forgiving, not forgetting. It’s hard to imagine that our love is a story with an end. But you know, at least I’m getting some really good songs out of it.”

Miley will be signing copies of her book at Barnes & Noble this Saturday (March 7) @ 12PM at The Grove at Farmers Market (189 Grove Drive, Los Angeles).

For real? This sl*tbutt hillbilly ***** is so stupid and full of s***. You got locked in a bathroom? Really?! That doesn’t make her a victim - it makes a dummy. And for those of you who buy her bs stories well sorry you’re a dummy too. Thanks for the entertainment and tell your BFF the grilled cheese I said what up! Stay classy Miley!

Every kid gets picked on growing up. EVERY KID! Of couse some get it worse then others.

Now what Miley really needs to write about is how it feels to be a kid of 16 dating an adult. Does it feel like your dating a pedophile? Do your parents realize that it’s gross? Do you think he’ll break-up with you when you get to be of legal age? Does anyone around you ever tell you that what you’re doing is nasty? Or more importantly tell your parents to be parents & stop trying to be your bestfriend & set their foot down & toss this child molester to the curb!

You people are fvcking horrible. You are vile, disgusting and ugly if you insist upon bashing her for THIS. Whether it’s true or not, you do not know, so stfu and stop being rude to her 24/7.

uh, she wrote a book?

i really feel miley is awesome as a role model. i for one will definitely read her book, because i think she has been through some hard times, but they only made her stronger. so, GO MILEY!

MILEY IS THE ****** BEST SO ALL U DUM ******* NEED TO STOP HATIN

Look, I’m not gonna say miley wasn’t bullied and all that. But this story is WAY over the top:
“[They locked me in the girl’s restroom during class.] They shoved me in. I was trapped. I banged on the door until my fists hurt. Nobody came. I spent what felt like an hour in there, waiting for someone to rescue me, wondering how my life had gotten so messed up.”

The LATEST this could have happened would have been around 11 years old (That’s when she auditioned for Hannah Montana) Seriously, first off, I’ve never even been to a school where KIDS can lock the bathroom from the OUTSIDE. How on earth is that supposed to work? And where are these bathrooms that NO ONE could hear her banging on the doors? Teachers or someone is always in the halway at some given time. And IF it happened she was probably being a ***** bragging about her auditions and what not. Yeah, bullying happens, but to this extent? It’s like a bad disney movie. This is something you report to administrators to get kids expelled. And then it doesn’t happen as often.

If she wanted to make the stories believable, she should have toned it down

Most of the comments on many sites focus on the wrong areas. The important areas to focus on are: It happened to Miley, it happens to most kids, it happens to our kids. What can our children and teenagers do and what can we do?

Other people can take forever trying to educate and convert bullies and their parents while the rest of the kids remain victims. But educating bullies and their parents begins when they find out that the old tactics don’t work. Protect kids now; stop bullies first and then educate them.

The lessons we can learn from Miley Cyrus are that we need:
1. Principals and other administrators who want to stop bullying.
2. Federal laws that require each school to create programs defining and prohibiting specific bullying behaviors and that hold principals liable for their failures.
3. School anti-bullying policies with specific behaviors spelled out. That way, principals and teachers will be supported in preventing bullying and in tackling bullies and their parents. And the principals who don’t want to act will be forced to.
4. Children, teenagers and parents who respond immediately. They’re alerting the rest of us and rallying us to be their allies and to help them resist.

In addition to professional experience, I learned practical, pragmatic methods growing up in New York City and then watching our six children and their friends and enemies. And we live in Denver, home of Columbine High School.

Disclosure: I’m the author of the books and CDs “How to Stop Bullies in Their Tracks,” and “Parenting Bully-Proof Kids.” See my web site and blog at BulliesBeGone (http://.BulliesBeGone.com).

this is a bunch of BS, i went to hms, just like her and there ARE NOT ANY DOORS ON THE BATHROOMS

she woulldnt no why she was bullied maybe it coz they were jelouse (i dnt no how to spell jelouse) of her and its probably real coz no one would just say she was bullied and lie about it nd kids get bullied all the time.

i feel so srry 4 her might be cing the hannah montana movie tom.

Okay all of yall who think she made this up your stuppid,
she prolly was bullied i mean her dad was billy ray cyrus and with every celebrity theres the haters, so they took it out on her.
thats not really something someone would make up and write about it a book about themself.
also to the people who think shes an idiot for her and nicks break u being the hardest day ever, well it prolly was, come on the dated for like two years and some girls who had a boyfriend for 2 months say that there breakup was the hardest day ever,
cause im sure they were verrrry close when your together that long
you do get something in therre

im not really that big of a miley fan but even if the most hated person in the world had people saying they were lying about their own lives i would defend them

They just made up a story so that teens related to and become her fans. There are thousands people that get bully way more than this. It’s not like only her get heart broken. I don’t understand why people just think this is so important. Everyone experience bully in some point. Everyone experience heart-broken. I don’t understand why people Dramatize Miley’s story so much that it become such a big deal. Like c’on, look around the world, people are way worst.

i no how she feel that happens to me all the time :(
