Natalie Portman Smooches Her Pooch
Natalie Portman gives her puppy some love while in the security check-in line at LAX airport on Tuesday (March 4) in Los Angeles, Calif.
On Thursday, the 27-year-old actress and activist will join an event in New York City to celebrate International Women’s Day. Following a screening of A Powerful Noise (a documentary detailing the struggles of three women living in Mali, Vietnam and Bosnia), Natalie will participate in a live panel discussion alongside former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nicholas Kristoff, among others, to discuss the state of women’s rights worldwide.

Nicholas Kristoff is also the New York Times writer who was with George Clooney in Darfur Sudan and Chad last week. They were there trying to bring light to the travesties committed against civilians. Nice to see the ICC finally put out an arrest warrant for the president of Sudan today.

I adore the fact she is one celebrity that isn’t just doing a cause that they forget about after the cameras stop. She used her intelligence and her celebrity to make a difference in the world. I wish we had more woman like Natalie in show buesiness.
Her dog is cute and he does go everywhere with her as if it was like her own child. I agree with #3 she is a breath of fresh air apposed to watching a bunch of clebs do nothing but get their nails done or walk from rodeo drive to starbucks with the paps they called in tow.

#15 your right some celebs will press themselves out to be seen as some fashion Icon. Natalie at least looks clean and impressive. Since LA has been raining the rain boots are appropriate for the weather. Plus NYC is cold and possibly has had snow. I woudn’t knock on the boots too hard I have seen less celebs wear rar worse crap then Natalie.
I see a even brighter future for this young woman and hopefully we will continue to see her speak out for what she is passionate about and make a difference.

It’s this Thrusday? During my Spring Break? Sweeet. Hmmmm, that means I have to decide and contemplate on getting tickets in the next 24 hours. Dammit….wonder if this thing is going to be televised?
