Brad Pitt meets with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democratic Whip James Clyburn to discuss the “Make it Right” project on Thursday (March 5) in Washington, D.C.
The 45-year-old actor received their thanks for his rebuilding efforts in New Orleans. The MIR project, launched in 2007, helps to construct affordable and environmentally-sustainable housing for low-income residents of the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans who lost their homes as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
“I just want to say thank you to the speaker for opening up her doors for us to come in and discuss the rebuilding effort, the current rebuilding effort going on in New Orleans and how we can expand this idea of affordability and sustainability because we think we have a model that works,” Brad said.
Partner Angelina Jolie is in town filming her spy flick, Salt.

This is so awesome!
It is so great to see celebrities use there fame for some really great causes. The rebuilding effort in Louisiana is not the only project that Brad and Angie do. They give A LOT of money and time to many causes! They are just great examples and role models.
UNLIKE… some jealous and greedy celebrities like Jennifer Aniston who blow 50K on getting their hair done for one 10 TV spot.

Behind every good man is a great women. Kudos to Brad Pitt he is such a humanitarian. However, I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Angie. I believe that her passion for human life has greatly influenced him and he now realizes the importance of empowering people. They are an amazing couple.
Brad, Brad, Brad…some of the comments on here actually nauseate. me. Brad is just a normal person. He is not anything special. Sure, he has lots of money, but if I were him, I’d give away as much as possible, otherwise, the IRS and obama will get it.
He also cheated on his wife, but everyone ignores that don’t they? Pssst. They call that adultery. Yes, adultery is still a word that is used for not being able to keep the promise you made to your wife to always be true to her. ADULTERER. You idolize an adulterer? Come on, find someone better to look up to.
He has such a good heart? How do you know, you can’t see inside his soul. it’s easy to spend money and give money away when you are looking for tax breaks. These people are nothing special. They are way overpaid.
Plus, Brad is fraternizing with the enemy when he even speaks to Nancy Pelosi. Brad you are on my thumb’s down list.
I will never admire you. If you did these things in secret where no one could see you do them, I’d have more respect, but here you are in public with your face hanging out getting the credit for what you do and a photo op to boot, looking quite smug. you have your reward already.

Has anyone noticed how freakishly large Nancy Peolsi’s breasts are? Those boobs are ridiculously large on such a small woman.
