Jake Gyllenhaal and his BFF Austin Nichols go bike-riding together on Thursday (March 5) in Brentwood, Calif.
Jake and Austin (both 28) have been biking together now for at least two years.
Austin last starred as older brother Ed Griffith in the Lifetime special Prayers for Bobby. Bobby, played by Ryan Kelley, is a young gay man who killed himself due to his mother’s and community’s religious intolerance.

a) Jake and Austin have always been friends for much longer than he ever knew Reese. They’re actually best friends (maybe more)
b) Reese has everything to gain by pretending to be with Jake. She didn’t want to end up like Jennifer Anistion. Having your husband cheat on you and leave you for a younger and more beautiful woman. She needed someone who is young and hot to keep her seeming like she’s relevant. She wants to remain in that “hot” crowd, even though Reese lost her looks a long time ago.
