Orlando Bloom works out his goatee while walking the red carpet at the “Extreme Beauty In Vogue” party at the Palazzina della Ragione during Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2009 in Milan, Italy on Monday (March 2).
The 32-year-old Pirates of Caribbean actor posed for pictures with Domenico Dolce, Scarlett Johansson and Stefano Gabbana.

I always liked Kate. So you see…..I dont just automatically hate the girlfriend cuz im jus jellus. Miranda Kerr knows what she has done. Thats enough for me. You can call it what you want, but I guess Id rather be called a hypocrite than be someone who automatically worships her essence just because she is with him.
OK, I’m curious…what has Miranda done? Really? What has she done that you can prove. That isn’t based upon speculation, hearsay, and flat out lies? What? I honestly want to know.
I’m not saying that you hate the girl because you are jealous, but I’m wondering what your reasons are, and if they could hold water. Come on, this is your chance to convince the masses that she is the devil incarnate. Give it a shot.

Sure, that makes a lot of sense.
Who’s “worshipping her essence” here? I haven’t noticed many people who feel that strongly about her at all. Oh, some might think that she’s pretty, or seems sweet/cute, whatever - but that’s about it. There may be a few impressionable young girls who’d “like to be like her” because they idolize models in the same way SOME do movie stars. But I really think “worship” is quite a large stretch for the vast majority of us.

The one that irritates me the most was when she adopted that poor defenseless animal, claiming she did it out of the goodness of her heart and that she had no idea Orlando had rescued one in Morocco.
That B.i.t.c.h. (Kate not the animal she adopted) is damn Lucky that those two animals Sidi and Essa did not rip each others throats out when they met.
My family and I have rescued animals my entire life, dogs and cats. Without setting foot inside a single animal shelter or pet shop to do so. They just seemed to know that they were welcome here.
And I can tell you from experience, dogs are the worst at getting along with others.
If cats don’t like you, they ignore you.
Dogs will let you know right off the bat if they can’t stand you.
128 - touche - but I dont dislike MK for her abilities to attempt tp be a bigger celebrity (but its good for a laugh or two once in a while), as I didnt dislike Kate for it either, marble like crack manip theories and all. That is just the way Hollywood works. I dont care if they are private or public or Speidi to be honest - that is someone elses beef. Do you see me saying MK is on drugs? Nope - theres no proof of that, and really, it doesnt seem like that would be her type of gig. My dislike of her comes from things other than just Hollywood crap that everyone does there.

Good strategy. Turn it back on to Kate. LOL! Funny that she still has that dog long after Bloom. She never left a boyfriend for Orlando either. She was very single when they met. Miranda was still shacking up with her boyfriend when pics of her and Orlando first came out. LOL!
I agree, Frofro and others like to say “Miranda knows what she has done” yet not once can they back it up with anything other than using gossip, speculation, rumours that they have read on the internet.
Well, you just want that proof to be provided to a bunch of ‘anons’. Like I said, you want deets, then fess up to who you are on a board that requires you have a login.
The point is that it is dangerous putting dogs together like that.
Even if she felt she needed to save face by keeping the dog after they split, that still does not guarantee the animal is treated with kindness.
I just found it very strange how she suddenly turns up with one just minutes after Orlando had rescued Sidi. Since he is always on the phone constantly, my guess is he called her and told her ahead of time.
I just have a very short fuse where animals are concerned, and even if Essa is treated okay, the intentions behind what she did, are what I don’t trust.
I’ve seen too many girls do stuff like that to show off or shove into everybody elses face who their boyfriend is. It’s the most disgusting display of Insincere Affection I ever witness, and I do not need to go onto a gossip site to find evidence of it. I’ve seen it too many times in person. And she is just a girl like any other.
136 - Ive been a dog owner my entire life and really, dont you think you are being a bit harsh about someone who CHOSE to rescue a dog, no matter what her reasons were? I just rescued a dog over the weekend so that my mom will have a dog. My mom isnt crazy about dogs but I dont want her being alone, so I got her a dog. And guess what? She loves him. I came in the other day and she and the dog were snuggled on the Lovesac pillow taking a nap to the TV. Im sure Kates intentions, whatever they were, were not to harm or neglect, or put her dog in harms way. How sad that you have to assume it was something other than for the well being of the dog.

I applaud you on choosing to rescue an animal to give to your mom, that was sweet.
I apologize for jumping the gun on what Kate’s intentions were. It’s difficult to be positive and hopeful, when you have had to experience first hand others being insincere and false in their “good intentions.”
Let me put it this way,
I’m very happy that you love animals.
My family and I plan to have an animal shelter someday, and I’ve had friends ask me if we plan on offering adoptions to others. I could never handle trusting others with animals that we would take in.
Once we get the shelter up and running, I will never leave, ever!
Thank you for letting me vent my emotions. I know it’s not the most productive place to do so.
But I really do have a short fuse where animals are concerned. And when that poster above mentioned her doing that, all I could remember was what my first reaction was to it. I was basing it on a very bad personal experience I had. I have a tendancy to remember both good and bad things that have happened in my life. And they both make me cry equally as hard.
I am very emotional and sensitive.

IMDB is a pretty docile place these days. Its not Delphi or Olove where YOU assume you have to drink the same KoolAid they do. Try thinking for yourself no matter what board you belong to. Its very liberating.
139 - A few months back I wanted to adopt another dog, a Pitbull mix that I instantly bonded with at the Petsmart. I realize that bad things happen to animals, but people who run shelters for them need to pay some attention to people who sincerely want to provide a good home for an animal. They rejected my application, even though I had an instant bond with this dog, based on the fact that my boyfriend also has a dog (a friendly one at that). The pitbull in foster care was at present living in a foster home with 4 other dogs and all the dogs, including the pitbull, got along fine. I was pissed that they would rather leave the dog without a permanent home, then take a chance trusting someone else who also clearly loves animals. I understand your passion, but most people dont want to harm animals. The ones that do stick out, and normally dont go through the expense of adopting one just to do it harm.

I’m sorry you were unable to adopt the animal. I’m sure that was difficult.
It is comforting to know that their are still people out there who truly want to provide a loving home for abandoned or abused animals, or just animals in general.
My mom knew this one lady, a friend of hers, who went out and bought a pure bred persion cat, with papers and all that for around $200. But after a week of taking care of the kitten, when I say kitten I mean recently taken away from it’s mother. The lady kept complaining to my mom that the kitten would always want to be held and loved everytime she got home from work. Gee I wonder why a baby kitten would want that? It’s not like they have feelings now is it? not laughing. And baby puppies are no different. My family is having the pleasure of raising two adorbable ones at the moment.
My mom’s friend was going to take it to the pound. Fortunately she let my mom have him. He was a wonderful addition. He lived a long time. I still miss him, like I do all of them.
Why purchase a pure bred persian kitten if you cant give it love. What’s it for, “decoration? status? what?” Obviously in her case, it was not for a companion.
That’s just one example I’ve come across. If you want to talk, I prefer private messages.

I’m not a member of any board, I’m also not a fan of Orlando Bloom, I have watched some of his movies but that is it.
Being from Australia I have seen Miranda in ad campaigns, in magazines, being interviewed on tv, and now the face of David Jones, but would not have called myself a fan.
Much to my surprise whenever I logged on to JJ to look at the photos for the day, I kept coming across pics of Miranda and reading all these very nasty comments about her. So after a while I decided to find out what all the fuss was about.
After having read the “evidence” so to speak, I’ve come to the conclusion that it all seems based on some very very vague gossip, no substance, I was expecting some revelation after all the carry on, but instead it all boils down to just talk on the internet.
I will say there is a complete disconnect between the level of vitriol directed at her and the reasoning behind it, very over the top and and doesn’t make any sense to me at all and in some ways very disturbing, but each to their own I guess.

People gossip. Friends, ex-friends, ex-lovers, those who may feel they have ‘an axe to grind’ for whatever reason carry tales. And lots of things get ‘embellished’ in the telling and re-telling. Also, ‘professional jealousy’ abounds out there. It’s also true that some people always seem eager to believe the very worst about others. (It’s one of those little ‘quirks’ of human nature.)
