Natalie Portman Makes a Powerful Noise
Natalie Portman arrives at Hunter College’s Kaye Playhouse for A POWERFUL NOISE Live on Thursday (March 5) in New York City.
Held in celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8), the one-time event featured a screening of the documentary film, A Powerful Noise, simulcast in 450 movie theatres across the country.
Following the screening, Natalie and a panel of activists that included Madeleine K. Albright and Christy Turlington Burns participated in a town hall discussion moderated by NBC News anchor Ann Curry. Their conversation was broadcast live to each theatre.

Golden Globe winner and Oscar Nominated is not mediocre by any stretch of imagination. Watch Closer among others.
Haven’t been commenting for awhile but glad to see natalie here doing something special with her life.Don’t compare Rachel bilson with Natalie. She has talent and she don’t. She always standing up for something doing sometthing for a good cause.All rachel do is shop and make peole think she’s in a relationship with somebody when she’s not .Natalie is true down to earth peson.And have beauty inside and out.

Truly this woman is more then impressive any “REAL” man would be honored to have her with him and I’m positive if and when she does find Mr. Right and not Mr. Available he will sport her on his arm like a trophy b/c really she golden.
Camera angles don’t give a person’s true form pretty sure she is about 5′4 or so I heard, I don’t think she is overly skinny she is a non meat eater so many are not overweight people they just respect the enviornment in which we live.
As for clothing this isn’t the golden globes or Oscars she wasn’t expected to go in gowns and diamonds most woman now days to many of these forums wear causal and she is very appropriate in what she chooses. Wish more of the so called Celeb trend setters would get a clue from Nat. and not thrown on what is clean that day b/c their maid service didn’t so the laundry.
I love ‘er. I don’t see that changing any time soon. She’s been working with charities since she was 15 and she’s really stepped up her involvement over the past six years or so. And thankfully, she’s not obnoxious about it like Leonardo DiCaprio, who yes, has a point about most of the things he talks about but is just so IN YOUR FACE about it I can hardly stand him.
Anyway. Back to Nat: she’s just so pretty. I really like her hair when it’s long and wavy; makes her look so feminine. I wish I’d been able to go: Portman + Albright? Amazing.
For the record: Portman is about 5′2. So she looks tiny because she is tiny. And she doesn’t spend her days shopping, so I really don’t want her to start copying Rachel Bilson any time soon.

All Natalie’s movies have done really well, not one ever was not profitable, she is and A Lister. Not one ever went directly to DVD, not one ever lost money, and every one was successful for its category.
