Angelina Jolie: Brother Bonding With James Haven
Angelina Jolie gets in some quality time with her older brother, actor James Haven, while out and about on Friday (March 6) in Washington, D.C.
Haven, 35, has said he got started in philanthropy because of his sister, 33. (He’s an executive board member of Artivist.)
“Angie was the catalyst,” he says. “She’d say, ‘I just heard this is going on in Darfur …’ and I’d want to be involved.”
Angie has been in town filming her spy flick, Salt.

When you have six kids, dinnertime is probably a little interesting! But for Top Chef winner Hosea Rosenberg, cooking for a family of eight — say, the Jolie-Pitts — is a snap. The newly-crowned winner of the Bravo TV reality show sat down with PEOPLE earlier this week to “dish” on what he’d serve the famous family. He shared,
“If they came [to my restaurant] with all their kids I’d do something family-style. I’d do a paella or some sort of jambalaya; something where they can just all get into it and get dirty.”
Though the Top Chef — not a dad himself — “loves kids,” cooking for them is a different story! He told PEOPLE,
“I love cooking for kids, but you can’t do anything pretty and sexy or nice for a kid because it’s just going to get spilled everywhere!”

At least Jared makes some semblance of neutrality on his blog. Perez hates Fugly with a passion. Calls her Maniston. Laughs at her chin. Compares her to the mutts in her movie. Says all her exes are happier with other partners than they were with her. The Loonifers start screaming like a bunch of deranged banshees. The sum total of all their posts is one long primal scream: LET HER ALOOOOOOOONE!!!!!!!!!!! And this is on thread after thread after thread. Perez insults Fugly and her fans keep giving him hits. Now it doesn’t take the brains of a rocket scientist to figure out that the more hits Perez gets, the more money he makes. If Jared was one tenth as hostile to the J-Ps as Perez is to Fugly, I wouldn’t give this site the time of day. I’d click the hell out of here and never come back. If Fugly’s fans on Perez Hilton had any sense, they’d to the same. But NOOOOOOOOOOOO. James is wary of people until he gets to know them. He is protective of his family, Angie and the kids and Brad, he is a very sweet and sincere person, he is religious in a gentler manner unlike JonV ( who is very old school catholic these days) and he gets along with his Dad (as does Angie privately). James does not like the extreme exploitation by the tabs and others as to his family. James is close to Brad, he sees how much Angie loves Brad and how happy she is with Brad, and Brad was there for both Angie and James when Marcheline died and helped them get through that. The Pitt family considers James a family member.

PT–maybe I should have sent this to you via email but since CMAR is also talking about it and I don’t have her email, I’ll post it here.. We’ll have to agree to disagree re JJB, at least M3a where I go to most of the time….The beauty of ‘ignore’ is you can put anyone on ignore, troll or fan…Also having the PM (personal message) gives you a chance/option to ask whoever you feel is chatting too much to ask politely to cool it a bit off line and I’ve done it occasionally ..Bottom line is, I personally prefer to see people say ‘hi’ and ‘bye’ and ‘how are you’ occasionally as opposed to the trolls disgusting posts re the kids, up coming seperation, cheating, strippers, incest yada yada…Like you said it’s just a personal choice :-)

No offense to the folks on JJB was meant. The ignore feature is all well fine and good, but you can do that here by simply scrolling past the posts. And as bad as the troll situation is here at least I don’t have to scroll by the same pix 50 times. Don’t get me wrong - I like the fact that pix can be embedded in the posts…BUT…and it’s a big but (and not Fuggy’s butt)…three quarters of the people who reply include the images. That’s why the threads over there are always crashing. The size of the file it creates must be humogous. When you reply you have the option to NOT include the images…yet people always do. I’m surprised the owners haven’t curtailed the inclusion of images in replies. I was scrolling through posts trying to see if it was worth the effort of moving over there and I kept scrolling by the same images over and over and over again. I would scroll past it and say to myself, “Didn’t I just see that picture?” Then I’d have to go backwards just to make sure I wasn’t losing my mind.

Oh yeah…here’s my other beef - I HATE AVATARS! LOL. There’s someone over there with an X avatar. It’s one of the pix from the NY Mag where X was making funny faces - funnier than her normal one. I assume the person is usuing it because it’s an absolutely wretched picture and she’s making fun of X. BUT…I’m like WTF? Why should come to a J-P thread and have to look at pix of that fug btich? So thumbs down on avatars from me.
