I am a Filipino too, teenager…

First, in the Philippines, if you ask them if they are gays they will honestly say “YES”.. Even if they doesnt hit the puberty stage and they don’t know what actually GAY/HOMO means.

Second, lots of Filipino put their video on YouTube or whatever, then it will be featured on an international show/websites like these, THEY WILL BE PROUD… Filipinos is proud when they are internationally acclaimed and they make lots of people really entertained.

Im sure they do this for a CONTEST (Philippines, had so many contest mostly when their town is celebrating Fiestas)

Or.. maybe just for fun, FILIPINOS are NOT SHY to show their TALENTS….

So don’t worry about PERVERT BROUGHT THAT HERE or IM THE NEW POPE, PUT THAT VIDEO DOWN BECAUSE ITS INAPPROPRIATE. No….

why is THIS video so horrible? of course, if you think of it in a sexual way, it will look sexual to you. lol. i just saw it as funny and creepy. it’s no worse than the video of those white kids doing the soulja boy dance. but no one complained about that one…come on people, get a sense of humor. it’s not meant to be taken seriously.

this is fun! all of a sudden i miss the Philippines! there’s totally nothing wrong with this…kids dancing on popular western songs or local novelties are sooo NORMAL! back there, you’ll see kids dancing EVERYWHERE! on the streets, on national TV… gay, straight, girls and boys! it is part of the culture, in fact, it is part of their every day lives. Filipinos view this more as a showcase of TALENT and ENTERTAINMENT…this is their meaning of FUN! so let them. those people here who think it is sexually exploitive or it’s perverse..then you’re the one who has a problem.

one more thing, if you think that their choreography is sexual, then go after beyonce! not the kids…..they simply love the song, they love dancing so they copied her moves! that’s all it was! if you don’t want kids to be dancing this way, then tell that to beyonce!!!

go kids! just have fun and be yourself!

also on gathering of family and friends… when parents know that their kids have the talent in terms of singing and dancing, they’ll even be the one to have their kids dance and sing in front of all the people and entertain them. that’s normal… because everyone thinks it is great and cute to see kids perform… everyone is happy.

This is not cute nor is it funny! There was a line crossed and I am sure that some sick o man is watching this and getting his Jollies off of it. These poor kids are being exploited. Would you want to see this with your child in it? That is what I THOUGHT!

This is an elaborately choreographed routine performed by a bunch of boys who enjoy dancing. I think the comments in reply to the performance are more telling of the commenter rather than the performance itself.

Would the dominant read of this situation still be that the performance was lewd if it was performed by a girl in a tutu dancing in her living room? Probably not.

It’s not very original to reference tired arguments rearticulating how boys “should” act. Leave some room for flexibility.

I don’t think that this is not right. Cos, here in Philippines. There are really a lot of gay boys. Little ones. I have a cousin, he’s just 10, but I know, for sure that he knows that he is a gay. And, he is proud of himself. Another one is my friend, he’s 13, and he’s totally gay! But, hey! He’s proud.

I just want to say that we’re not abusing or violating any rule with this kind of treatment. The boys totally like what they were doing. And that’s what matters most. :D
