OlderJennifer Aniston & John Mayer: Perfect Love?
Jennifer Aniston opens up to UK’s Daily Mail about her relationship with John Mayer, turning the big 4-0 and having babies someday.
On describing her life now: “I would say that this is the best moment of my life. I’ve never felt better physically or professionally; I am a very lucky woman.”
On if there is such a thing as a perfect relationship: “I don’t have one and I don’t think it exists. We are just fooling ourselves if we think it does. Whoever said that every relationship has to last for ever? That’s hoping for too much. I think every relationship is a world unto itself… The truth is, I’m very romantic. It’s a shame that people stop being romantic out of laziness. And communication is vital. People often expect their partner to read their minds and when that doesn’t happen, they get upset, then the other person gets even more upset, and it is all because they didn’t talk it over at the beginning.”
On starting a family someday: “Of course I’d like to be a mother some day, and I love children. But a movie like this (Marley & Me) reminds you that you start your life with expectations and dreams, then life unfolds and it doesn’t always turn out the way you’d imagined.”
On what makes her happy: “Just hanging out. Sunsets makes me happy, silly things make me happy. A nice bottle of wine with some good cheese makes me happy. Being in love makes me happy.”
On her future with John Mayer: “I don’t really think about it. I have never been a woman who dreams about getting married and having children and having that house in Connecticut. On the contrary, I’ve always gone with the flow. I enjoy the moment because life goes on while you try to make plans; it’s better to make the most of every second. So I just try to live in the present.”

Who’s idea was to set up the pr stunt with Mayer of all people. I would be ashamed to try and trick people like this. I think every thing comes out of her mouth is a lie. She has no dignity left. I heard he was hooking up with fans and taking them to his place again. I don’t know if it true but I remember when that floated around before it was true then.
Wow. Well, after reading that, it should be obvious to everyone that this woman is as vacuous and as empty as the inside of a drum. Live for the moment. Turn off your brains and don’t waste any time thinking. She has no plans, no dreams, no goals for her life.

I don’t have a problem with anyone having or not having children. But to say that Brad is stuck because he has become a father is a statement obviously made by a child. Some people are natural parents. They rejoice in being a parent. Angie said well before meeting Brad that she wanted as many kid as she could handle. Brad said before meeting Angelina that he wanted 7-9 kids.. So I don’t feel that when you get what you have wanted that makes you stuck. He and Angie planned their kids. They did not just show up. And to the poster the world is overpopulated. Kids all over the world need homes and families. So Brad/Angie are adopting too. They seem to be quite happy and content. I
But as far a Jennifer is concerned, I just don’t know. She seems to be changing her mind about a lot of things. Her right. If she is happy with John, more power to them. I just want her relationship to be lived without reference to Brad/Angie. Jennifer’s fans have an opportunity to support your Celed.. Do so. Pump her up…But why must you do this by putting down Brad/Angie. Just because they are happy? SAD
roma, the only people who are 40 with children in their 20s and grandchildren are toothless, trailer trash who are just wasting space on this planet. I’m not a fan of this chick and don’t think she’s that good of an actress but motherhood is not the answer to everyone’s everything.

@56: I only brought brad and Angie in because people always say stuff like “Brad was right to dump Jen” etc etc. - look at the comments above. Brad has made lifestyle choices and so has Jen. I respect both their choices, but as a young woman, I get pretty mad when people say “Jen is selfish” etc just because she doesn’t have kids. I don’t want to feel like I have to have kids just to prove I am not selfish! I feel Jen is a great role model for women - she proves you can have a life and a career, and follow your own path instead of the path others expect you to follow just cause it’s the traditional way. When I am 40, I hope I am brave enough to follow my own heart, even if people accuse me of being selfish, ugly, old etc etc.
